    Great video. New to tying and thanks for explaining to strip half the feather before wrapping. Explains why my flies were turning out like crap.

    Nice little fly, the engineer in me would have gone mad with the uneven married wings but when the fly is fishing it won't make a difference :)

    i would have tented dyed black golden pheasant rump feathers rather than rooster hackle dyed black ..back to back...it would look much more finished and refined

    IMO, overdressed for our Canadian steelhead. Even winter run. Schlappen, sigh
