Let's be honest. Drake really isn't anything special. And this is coming from a guy who owns, beat and loves all three games. He's essentially a funny, relatively smart guy who is KIND OF fit. Lara is a rich chick, who is a GENIUS, and a master martial artist. She has more gadgets, experience, discipline and training. The only thing Drake has over her is that he's a smart-ass. Wait, that's not exactly a good thing, so never mind, he has nothing over her.
Yeah even tho I haven't played the game everyone votes on fan base. The only reason batman beat deadpool is because deadpool has no movies (yet, 2016 deadpool). But even if she has better weapons once they got to the hand-to-hand combat parts that girl realistically was done. That guy is in shape and every guy has a natural instinct to fight. While she's able to use weapons better she could've easily blown his head off cuz guns aren't hard to get used to. So it realistically would been close but she had her chance with her forte (weapons) before he could get to his forte (hand to hand combat)

Jaden Stewart Yeah, but the young, inexperienced Lara Croft in the 2013 reboot is not the same Lara Croft like the one in the early games or, say, Underworld. Sure, Nathan took out an army of mobsters (mostly with help, but still an impressive feat) but Lara basically takes out gods. On a regular basis. Then there's the fact that Nathan gets knocked around a lot by guys who are bigger than he is. While Lara pretty much kicks everyone's ass, no problem. The Lara Croft you're familiar with is in a game that tells of her origin story, about a young Lara Croft on het very first adventure where she was caught off guard by something that was much bigger than she anticipated and was forced to adapt to survive, like the born natural survivor she is. Look up some earlier Tomb Raider games, you seem like you need to do a little more research on the material.

Ok, Drake does have a lot more fighting skill than shown in this, I'm not saying he shoulda' won. Laura is better at finding stuff once she knows where it is, hence why drake had the skull in the first place cause he's better at finding things when he doesn't know where it is. But Drake is an amazing fighter, and Lara might be better trained, but I think Nathan was totally downgraded further than he should have been. But Lara seems to always know where something is exactly, usually because it's already been explored or discovered, she's just "raiding it". I think that was an unfair voting. Uncharted did have the vote disadvantage of not having many games and only on play station because Naughty Dog took a lot of time to develop them. Plus the franchise started later than tomb raider. What would really give him the nod for chance to win is that he has been climbing since he was a kid. He took the time and developed a lot of upper body strength. He's actually a trained and experienced climber, gunner, thief, and fighter. And if he has the strength to climb a train wagon dangling off the side of a cliff with a hole in his stomach in blistering cold weather, imagine how hard he can hit in peak condition. Lara on the other hand is merely an archeologist. Maybe she was trained to climb but for how long exactly? A mere two years at the most. And she only started using guns when? What annoys me about the Nathan Drake in this video is that he pointed a gun at Laras head threateningly. He could have just took her down with stealth like he did with the museum guards or any of the hundreds of other guys who actually tried to kill him. That is Nathan Drakes actual style.
Nathan drake is not an experienced fighter, his h2h sucks I've played every uncharted game. Lara is an Olympic level gymnast and knows martial arts she's also a better marksman. I've played all the games of both franchises and I can assure you Nathan Drake is much better and more realistic than Lara Croft. Climbed up a derailed train hanging from the Himalayas with a gun-shot wound in his abdomen and then defeated armored men before being rescued, got out of a crashing airplane in the middle of the desert and then survived for 3 days without food or water. To be honest, a H2H battle between Lara and Nate will be like Nate vs Nadine, meaning there won't be any real conclusion to that. Nadine is a highly skilled combatant who Nate could not really beat but he survived her so..... Sometimes luck can do wonders. Maybe Nate fires a bullet at Lara and misses but considering his luck, that bullet might hit some explosive barrel right behind Lara blowing her to bits. Again, considering Nate's luck, maybe Lara fires a bullet at Nate but the surface on which Nate is standing shifts and the bullet misses Nate.

She's fought a bear with only a bow and arrow out in the open. She's fought a T-Rex. She's wielded mjolnir, Thor's hammer. (Tomb Raider Underworld) She took down a small army base single handedly. She has more survival skills and know how than Nathan does. She's actually getting shot instead of luck bouncing bullets off her. Strength: She kicked through metal grates and rock walls. Pushes off a sarcophagus lid, which can weigh in range of tons Survived multiple plane crashes (how's that luck for you?) There really wasn't a winner or loser as far as the fighting. Drake just didn't have a chute. If he did, he would continue to recklessly and foolishly chase her until he eventually got lucky.
INACCURATE I've played EVERY Tomb Raider game an EVERY Uncharted. Nathan would beat Lara. Nathan was in a plane crash and stranded in a desert and fought an entire heavily armed base bare handed. Nathan had neither food nor water and still survived.
I love watching the girls argue with the guys they look beautiful these ladies make the challenges worth watching. I agree with the ladies, Lara Croft is the more skilled adventurer, I like how they showed Indiana Jones at the end.
I don't want to come across as sexist, but the fact that Drake is a man and Lara is a woman does give Drake a significant advantage. I don't know who would win, but I think we can all agree that both Lara Croft and Nathan Drake are complete badasses who would and could beat a lot of the other video game characters we play as now. Love both Tomb Raider and Uncharted! I need some sort of crossover someday.
I played all games from both franchises (except tomb raider 1 for the PS1), it seems to me that Lara has overcome way more difficult obstacles. I do realize that it is fictional, but we base our heroes strength based on the feats of power they accomplish.

Don't forget that although Nathan Drake is a cool character (and he really is), Lara Croft was the original pioneer in this style of gaming. Hunting down treasures/searching for relics of the past. Also, proof positive...Lara Croft fights a FREAKING DRAGON!! Forget taking down other enemies or even humans, hell even the T-Rex was badass, but in the second game, she literally goes head to head with a Dragon and WINS! Sorry Drake, but unless you are suddenly fighting monsters that are impervious to damage save one small weakspot, back off. The only way to beat that Dragon is to use the Dragon Dagger on the creature's heart when it is weakened from a prolonged fight. It is also one of the most epic fights I had ever fought in a genre such as that.

Granted, she is unrealistic, but they wanted to give a strong female protagonist to a series and they succeeded. I honestly didn't really care much for Uncharted. Don't get me wrong, its a good game series, but I always liked Tomb Raider more, it just felt more natural is all. One thing I will say is that Uncharted feels more like something someone could actually do (well until the later Tomb Raider games where she couldn't jump the width of a small house per jump).

I do think if it was a fair fight that Drake would win. He's just a guy who's more used to fighting, Lara plunders abandoned tombs, Drake plunders active war-zones. However I don't think Drake would fight her, he would defend himself, of course, but not try to kill her. He's not that kind of guy. I also don't think Lara would attempt to kill Drake since I don't think he'd give her a reason to. Would be very interesting to see a crossover game, really hope that's something the devs would consider. Maybe a game where they compete, and get a common enemy. Nate is still far less experienced, he has nothing over Lara in anyway. Lara is a better fighter, knows a lot more about gadgetry, and always works alone. Nate's only defense is that he is lucky, if you don't think so, then watch the plane mission from U3.

Lara has fought Undead Armies (Stormguard, Deathless Ones), non-hallucinogenic demons, T-Rexes, and super-human fiends. Lara has broken into many impossible places, she broke into Area 51. And yes, I have played every single Uncharted, I'm playing the Collection right now. Nate and Lara have learned Survival instincts around the same age, Nate was at least 15 or 16 in Cartagena and Lara survived a plane crash at like around the same age I believe. The date of which the games came out has nothing to do with it, she is just better trained and better equipped.

I loved this Lara. Much better than the movie one (movies I could take it or leave it.) She definitely reminded me of her from the video game when she said there's a snake behind you. While she's able to use weapons better she could've easily blown his head off cuz guns aren't hard to get used to. Ok, Drake does have a lot more fighting skill than shown in this, I'm not saying he shoulda' won. Laura is better at finding stuff once she knows where it is, hence why drake had the skull in the first place cause he's better at finding things when he doesn't know where it is. But Drake is an amazing fighter, and Lara might be better trained, but I think Nathan was totally downgraded further than he should have been. I think that was an unfair voting. Uncharted did have the vote disadvantage of not having many games and only on play station because Naughty Dog took a lot of time to develop them. Plus the franchise started later than tomb raider.
What would really give him the nod for chance to win is that he has been climbing since he was a kid. He took the time and developed a lot of upper body strength. He's actually a trained and experienced climber, gunner, thief, and fighter. And if he has the strength to climb a train wagon dangling off the side of a cliff with a hole in his stomach in blistering cold weather, imagine how hard he can hit in peak condition. Lara on the other hand is merely an archeologist. Maybe she was trained to climb but for how long exactly? A mere two years at the most. And she only started using guns when?
What annoys me about the Nathan Drake in this video is that he pointed a gun at Laras head threateningly. He could have just took her down with stealth like he did with the museum guards or any of the hundreds of other guys who actually tried to kill him. That is Nathan Drakes actual style.
Nathan drake is not an experienced fighter, his h2h sucks I've played every uncharted game. Lara is an Olympic level gymnast and knows martial arts she's also a better marksman. Also this was very noncanon if it really happened she would have just shot him with the sniper rifle. Also there's no way in hell Nathan drake could get the drop on her so to suggest he could have snuck up on her is hilarious. Lara has taken on literal gods and won not to mention she killed a T-Rex, drake took down a few guys here and there. Look up her fights on here, then look up drakes he wouldn't even be a challenge for her.

Maybe Nate fires a bullet at Lara and misses but considering his luck, that bullet might hit some explosive barrel right behind Lara blowing her to bits. Again, considering Nate's luck, maybe Lara fires a bullet at Nate but the surface on which Nate is standing shifts and the bullet misses Nate.

There really wasn't a winner or loser as far as the fighting. Drake just didn't have a chute. If he did, he would continue to recklessly and foolishly chase her until he eventually got lucky.

INACCURATE I've played EVERY Tomb Raider game an EVERY Uncharted. Nathan would beat Lara. Nathan was in a plane crash and stranded in a desert and fought an entire heavily armed base bare handed. Nathan had neither food nor water and still survived.

I love watching the girls argue with the guys they look beautiful these ladies make the challenges worth watching. I agree with the ladies, Lara Croft is the more skilled adventurer, I like how they showed Indiana Jones at the end.

It is more likely due to the fact that Tomb Raider is a multi-platform game which means more people have played it than Uncharted.
I don't want to come across as sexist, but the fact that Drake is a man and Lara is a woman does give Drake a significant advantage. I don't know who would win, but I think we can all agree that both Lara Croft and Nathan Drake are complete badasses who would and could beat a lot of the other video game characters we play as now. Love both Tomb Raider and Uncharted! I need some sort of crossover someday.
I played all games from both franchises (except tomb raider 1 for the PS1), it seems to me that Lara has overcome way more difficult obstacles. I do realize that it is fictional, but we base our heroes strength based on the feats of power they accomplish.

Don't forget that although Nathan Drake is a cool character (and he really is), Lara Croft was the original pioneer in this style of gaming. Hunting down treasures/searching for relics of the past. Also, proof positive...Lara Croft fights a FREAKING DRAGON!!
Forget taking down other enemies or even humans, hell even the T-Rex was badass, but in the second game, she literally goes head to head with a Dragon and WINS!
Sorry Drake, but unless you are suddenly fighting monsters that are impervious to damage save one small weakspot, back off.
The only way to beat that Dragon is to use the Dragon Dagger on the creature's heart when it is weakened from a prolonged fight. It is also one of the most epic fights I had ever fought in a genre such as that.
The simple solution is making out naked in a bed.

Point said though, Lara Croft was designed to attempt to get girls into gaming more. Granted, she is unrealistic, but they wanted to give a strong female protagonist to a series and they succeeded. I honestly didn't really care much for Uncharted. Don't get me wrong, its a good game series, but I always liked Tomb Raider more, it just felt more natural is all. One thing I will say is that Uncharted feels more like something someone could actually do (well until the later Tomb Raider games where she couldn't jump the width of a small house per jump).

I do think if it was a fair fight that Drake would win. He's just a guy who's more used to fighting, Lara plunders abandoned tombs, Drake plunders active war-zones. However I don't think Drake would fight her, he would defend himself, of course, but not try to kill her. He's not that kind of guy. I also don't think Lara would attempt to kill Drake since I don't think he'd give her a reason to.
Would be very interesting to see a crossover game, really hope that's something the devs would consider. Maybe a game where they compete, and get a common enemy. Now of course there's the problem with who do you play as? Well, how about two campaign? One where you play as Drake, and one as Laura? Drake campaign developed by ND, Lara campaign developed by Crystal Dynamics.

+Lava Proof Lara has survives armies of zombies and demons. She may have not survived the Saharah, but she has survived the coldest points on earth. She is just more experienced with this stuff. Plus she knows what she's talking about when she finds something. It's not "Ooh, a gold coin thingy!". And Lara can dodge bullets, but Drake is kind of like a sponge.
Well, Nathan Drake took on Spaniard zombies, while battling an army of guerrillas, and preventing a cursed object to escape an island, which turns people into zombies, and he's took on immortal warriors by HIMSELF.
It's really no surprise that Lara won. She's way more seasoned, has battled enemies and creatures more powerful, has survived plane crashes, evil spirits, Russian armies, mutant spiders, Italian gastopo, sinking battle ships, sharks, poisonous snakes, waterfalls, T-Rexs, raptors, wolves, knives, death traps, explosions,......

Nate is still far less experienced, he has nothing over Lara in anyway. Lara is a better fighter, knows a lot more about gadgetry, and always works alone. Nate's only defense is that he is lucky, if you don't think so, then watch the plane mission from U3.

krypticavalanch I'll give him points for the spiders, Lazarevic, and the zombies from both U1 and U2, but the flaming skeletons were exactly that, "Hallucinogens". Lara has fought Undead Armies (Stormguard, Deathless Ones), non-hallucinogenic demons, T-Rexes, and super-human fiends. Lara has broken into many impossible places, she broke into Area 51. And yes, I have played every single Uncharted, I'm playing the Collection right now. Nate and Lara have learned Survival instincts around the same age, Nate was at least 15 or 16 in Cartagena and Lara survived a plane crash at like around the same age I believe. The date of which the games came out has nothing to do with it, she is just better trained and better equipped.
