I'm so happy for Catherine that her grandmother got to watch the entire series, and witness the legacy her granddaughter is a part of. ^_^ The first reaction i had to the Zeo Zords was that they were a bit 'different in style' than the others, but when combined i really liked the overall design, plus the switching of the helmets is a fun feature. Now the SUPER Zeo Zords were my absolute favorites on the show, but we'll get to those soon enough.

I completely get it. Acting doesn't give ownership to it unless you were already the creator like Jerry Seinfeld was for his own show. But I would say this is fair use considering they are giving commentary and not showing the entire episode. And one wouldn't expect the co. to go down hard on cast members on a show more than 20 years ago. Still well within copyright laws but just ridiculously tedious, unprofitable and just not worth litigation.
The voice of King Mondo, from what I looked up was a David Stenstrom. Who was has done voice over work before in Power Rangers and was a main character in Masked Rider

My reaction when i saw the Zeo Megazord from the very first time was that they were representing the egyptian era too, kinda like it all started with the dinossaur era ( Mighty Morphin ) and ended with the actual era ( Turbo ) at that time, not knowing that the show would continue after that.

I was also reminded of my guilt that I convinced my own grandmother to take me to the Power Rangers movie; the commercials said it was only in theatres so I took that to mean there would be no home release so I was a little panicked I wouldn't see it. :)

Honestly I thought it was an odd choice for a megazord. But the more I saw it fight, the different helmets it can use for combat situations, and then owning the toy at one point, I learned to really appreciate the design more. Even as a toy, it had amazing arm articulation for a megazord back then and I think it's quite an interesting choice for that season sentai or power rangers-wise.
Farkus Bulkmeier was Bulk's full name and the Cogs were the same design as the ones from the Japanese counterpart Ohranger and the Megazord scene was actually the Japanese footage reused. All the footage comes from Super Sentai
I loved the Zeo zord! I couldn't stand that the legs weren't animals because it was almost as if they didnt match the theme and that there could've been other options for the yellow and pink zords. But other than that, thank god! Because the zords after it were lack luster. Though the Turbo zord was sweet, it was just all cars - but still sweet. Haha. So, that's how I felt! 😉

I remember thinking the yellow and pink Rangers’ Zeo zords were too similar and lacked your colors, that they were mostly blue.
Oh, Tanya Sloan was an American living in Africa at the time, that makes so much sense as to why she didn't have (or Nakia didn't use) an accent on the show. I didn't care at the time but recently thought about why Tanya was supposedly an African but sounded like an American. Was Kat Hillard supposed to be from Australia? I can't remember.
The woman from Mad TV and Family Guy did the voice for Queen Machina. I don't remember what my first reaction upon seeing the Zeo megazord was like, but I'd say it reminds me a lot of the original megazord or maybe the thunder megazord. It's a little more basic than the ninja or shogun megazord.
i looked up the cogs to see if there as a reason for the different colour. as it turn's out the red is just an american footage thing not sentai thing so no idea why they had a different colour in the american footage (unless maybe the costume department ran out of silver).

It was still all technically just the luck of the draw who survived it though, and lots of the newer characters survived the snap like Ant-Man or Okoye. There was no actual written rule or reason in the story as to why the original six just happened to survive. They conveniently survived because the films were meant to serve as the finale in the journey for the original ensemble. With Power Rangers each of orginal rangers already got multi-part finales to their stories and their time on the team whenever they got replaced, so the writers of a Power Rangers: Infinity War wouldn't be bound to keeping them all alive and focal.

Here's a fun fact. In O-Ranger, each zord was based on a mythical beast or structure in real life.
Pink is a Moai head and Yellow is based on a Dogu

Well, the Zeo Zords were pretty cool. But the Yellow and Pink Zords could not move on their own. Which was kind of a bummer.
Yellow and pink's zords were based on statues in the Sentai. So it's actually kind of appropriate that they can't move on their own.
