If you are done extracting oil before December, you can end the lease early and get a bonus. You can also turn off the nodes so oil and water don't mix.
Quick tips first water speeds up the drill not the pump and if you keep the water connected to the pump you will waste it you need to turn off the joints so it only goes to the refinery petrol is definitely the best way to make a lot of money once you get the hang of it.
You would need to add extra nodes between the water side of the piping and oil side of the piping, then shut that node off.
Just like you used to do with the green gas.
You are just squirting all of your water through the oil pump, but if piped correctly, the refinery would also fill up fast because they get full flow

I think you want to turn off the well when extracting water into the refinery. Water gushes out of the oil tower that you want to capture in the refinery.

You can close the pipes by clicking on the connection points (for free in this dlc), if you want water to go just into the refinery branch from a pipe nearby make 2 short pipes and close the connection point in the middle so the oil pipes and water pipes are seperated.
Now just connect to the refinery and water deposit

The problem I'm seeing with this DLC is that water is absolutely vital for petrol refining, but the game gives you so little water, it tends to not be worth it to make petrol at all unless you pretty much master the process and timing. If you don't know how to min-max the process so that you don't waste a single precious droplet, it's often best to just use the water to make drilling for oil faster and cheaper.
I think i just missed a sale for the base game, too. Thirteen bucks may not be a lot, but I like to at least try to keep some purchased games under 10 bucks when I can.

Moles are great for finding water. Also, you are wasting a lot of the water you are finding by pushing it out of the drill towers. To fix that you can close nodes (without cost in the dlc) and drill from the closed nodes to make a dedicated water network connecting the refineries with the water supplies.
3:02 it’s a joke how much Oil companies pay for a spill. At that point they should just charge them for telling them about the oil spill.

you should let the water alone going to the refinery it should not be mixed with the oil
so make a line from a drill to the ground and make s mall branch to the refinery and then to the water and block it from the drill by closing the dot so you don't mix the oil with water and you will be way ahead with petrol and you can sell more petrol and will make you 3x rich

Jeez,watching df played turmoil is a pain both on how he play and how the heck he generatung so much money but also have to take a loan most of the time.
As a Turmoil player I have to agree with this. After the first few minutes of the video I had planned to make a comment with suggestions, but a few more minutes in and I realized I'd be writing a book, lol. Everything from placing his moles at the top and not deeper down, his convoluted piping, not using valves, etc was driving me crazy.
