    *Answer to get SSL Certificate to unsecure site* : We Can get the SSL certificate for the domain using Reverse proxy managers like Nginx proxy manager with cloudflare’s API. All we have to do is, Point the subdomain we have created to the proxy manager. And then, Obtain SSL certificate using Dns Challenge with cloudflare.

    As I’m creating a static website, I noticed that Google says it’s not compliant with PHP and all the data is accessible to the public.
    If this is truly the case, why would anybody create a static website posted on Google cloud server. ?

    👍👍 So you must set website configuration in the cloud storage for each file (html, pdf) you upload to make it public with your domain name ?

    Sir my ques is that do i have to cram all the theoretical part for devops or cloud or sol archtct exams do i?? Or is there any differ approach to it?

    • @CloudAdvocate

      Yes, DevOps has different concepts and tools. Sol Architect is more specific to exam (AWS). Having good understanding of both will help you a lot.

    GK, I followed your steps and added CNAME in godaddy but when I'm trying to access website I'm getting below error. Do you have any input?
    NoSuchKey
    The specified key does not exist.

      I guess you missed setting index.html at GCS level.

      @@CloudAdvocate Thank you GK - Two things I changed to up and running my domain using GCS.
      1) Added Forward Domain in Godaddy Account(Domain should match)
      2) Changed index.html from Index.HTML

      @@CloudAdvocate GK do we need to change the NameServers in cloudflare or just adding CNAME is enough to maintain the Cache.

    • @lokeshb9025
      @lokeshb9025 Год назад

      @@rajeshnamalakonda8474 If you are migrating to use cloudflare to manage ur domain, you should definitely change the nameservers to cloudflare’s nameservers inorder for cloudflare to maintain ur domain. After changing it, In a few hours, you may see that you dont have the control of managing the dns records in godaddy.

      Its because you gave dns record for www only. Give another record with @. it will work.

    How to make the website secure??.

    • @CloudAdvocate
      @CloudAdvocate  4 года назад +1

      By using https load balancer.

      @@CloudAdvocate You can also configure CloudFlare using their flexible SSL option (support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200170416-End-to-end-HTTPS-with-Cloudflare-Part-3-SSL-option) to get an HTTPS connection between the client and CloudFlare (and that coveted lock in the user's browser!).
      The traffic between CloudFlare and GCS will be unencrypted, but for a public website that is not an issue.
