I really miss Ray...been following Ray, brothers and the band since early 1970s, and have studied Rays playing for my own use...A true challenge to play anywhere near to that ability.
It is rare that Gentle Giant would do an instrumental, I think this song was originally supposed to be used in a BBC television program, but it got scrapped.
I've been listening to this song for... a hrair of years, and I never thought of a saucy fox but that's why I'm not Noah Schulman or Dan Melius. This might be my favorite video of the batch. When foxy bounces up and down on the throne with the crown trying to fall off his head I laugh every time. Now do Genesis' Foxtrot 🤣
Pretty much same. I put power and glory on one day mowing grass because I thought the art looked cool and it was recommended under "artists similar to King Crimson," LOL. Not really. Anyways, I didn't like it at first but I knew I was going too. I watched the sight and sound concert shortly after and It just sucked me right in.
I've been a Gentle Giant fan since before I was born. This is my favorite music, which few seem to understand. The video is soothing, even if the Brobdingnagian world is a lonely one. :-D
Since before I was born , yeah I agree! yes, elp, early Genesis, Jethro Tull fan fully agree! They had something special! If all those other bands were the cake, they were the icing on top! With a little bit of ghost pepper powder! Fuck, yeah!
Great job. I Love it, but i can't pay attention on the screen, because i can't open my eyes when i listen this masterpiece. ❤❤. Sorry by my poor english.
I lived near Talybont for my first four years. It's a small caravan resort not far from Barmouth. But if you take a turn, you end up in beautiful Welsh woods.
Lots of references to the other GG albums Giant head- Arguably either "Gentle Giant" (first album) or "Giant for a Day!" Crown, and then the Butterfly Club- "The Power and the Glory" Hand sculpture- "Free Hand" Rainbow- "Interview" Puzzle- "The Missing Piece" Any more?
'Twas brillig! A digital, origami Reynard the Fox to lead us on this psychonautical journey into the past/future? Why not, I say! Reminds me greatly of reading Sir Walter Scott and listening to GG on acid 50 years ago. Some things defy time and space.
i think this music is tottally medieval.. Like barbarians drinking beers in a wood cup, eaitng big hams. With the band playing at the night in the garden with a fire pit
The greatest N64 soundtrack that never was.
Talybont even sounds like an N64 game.
Exactly what I was thinking. Makes me nostalgic for the N64 in addition to nostalgic for music that came out before I was born lol
Good times
It’s got a Super Mario RPG sound to it with more medieval feels to it

Rays bassline makes this great.
I love when Giant goes Medieval/Renaissance!!!
Gentle Giant were unique in every sense of the word & this proves it. 😄
Gentle Giant: to know and to love!
Been a fan since the 70's. One of the most original prog bands out there. Overflowing with musical talent.
Great mix. This always reminds me of Gryphon.
Oh shit I forgot about Gryphon, I have their album
Proof that great progressive songs don't need to go on and on for 20 minutes.
True, some of camels best songs aren’t that large.

Now do Genesis' Foxtrot 🤣
Lovely to see some Rabbit language in the wild
GG has a great medieval vibe going on.
Discovered this band at the beginning of lockdown last year and gotta say they made things much better during that time.

New Talybont video. The Giant never sleeps!
the animations for these re mixes are PERFECT
Absolutely love this song, and the accompanying video with the cute fox is entrancing.
What lovely grand phun. Long live our very own Gentle Giant.

Gentle Gryphon
Since the beginning of the 70s, this group was my favorite .....so cooool!!!
esse CGI típico dos anos 90 é super nostálgico PlayStation, Sega Saturno e Nintendo 64
I love this piece. One of my favorites. That synthsolo! Beautifull
Great job. I Love it, but i can't pay attention on the screen, because i can't open my eyes when i listen this masterpiece. ❤❤. Sorry by my poor english.
The opening melody is almost identical to the start of 'On Reflection'.
The best album....my fovourite!

Loving these music videos you keep putting out. Each one is different than the last, kinda like your music. Each unique in their own special way
For me it was 77 I still listen frequently!!
Gentle Giant simplemente el mejor de la música rock progresivo.👍♥️
0:40 hail to power and to glory's way
Right?
Hahahahahahaha
The Missing Piece and Free Hand too.
I never tire of listening to this masterpiece!
Thx from Florida!!!
Excellent. You continue valuing these old gems with pristine sound & dreamy imagery over perfect execution.
When i first heard this song i could have sworn i had have heard it in club penguins medival event.
This video is perfect, it gets this song!!
My favorite Final Fantasy 9 track
This fantastic song saved my day from getting ruined by the new abba songs. Gentle Giant rocks!
Lots of references to the other GG albums
Giant head- Arguably either "Gentle Giant" (first album) or "Giant for a Day!"
Crown, and then the Butterfly Club- "The Power and the Glory"
Hand sculpture- "Free Hand"
Rainbow- "Interview"
Puzzle- "The Missing Piece"
Any more?
The intro has an octopus swimming in the lake. :D
The trotting fox must refer to Genesis then...
@@pal-of-pals - good catch!
Bello tema, gracias 🎩🚭

Gentle giant + Nintendo 64!
:00 Asombroso Gentle Giant, el video es increíble así como la canción B)
Así es colega B)
Talybont is a village in Wales, not far from Aberystwyth. I wish I knew why it was made the title for this brilliant instrumental.
John Weathers is from Wales. Maybe he has Something to do with it. Otherwise it’s an historical place.
More than a decade ago I did an audio Mashupof this song and Daffy Duck as Robin Hood. Yoicks and away!
J DILLA brougth me here
I would have expect a title like this by... the Afghan Whigs
I have not heard this song in ten years. What a lovely one. Am I the only chilean here? Algún ctm por acá?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I❤️GG
I want the videogame!
Auto regaste das músicas mais legais do "Gigante Gentil"
😍
Ah...when Steven Wilson is doing a project...=> it turns into gold.
Pristine!
*Bunch of boomers did an OG bardcore remix before it was cool😎*
Who the fuck is Steve Wilson? I luv his animations on the gentle giant stuff.
Steven Wilson is the guy who remixed the music, and has his own band Porcupine Tree. The animations were done by Derek Shulman's son Noah.
Pokemon in acid
What Nintendo64 game is this from?
Jkjk
The English goes to 11. None more English. Bravo, chaps.
i think this music is tottally medieval.. Like barbarians drinking beers in a wood cup, eaitng big hams. With the band playing at the night in the garden with a fire pit
I think you're right! Like even more so than Jethro Tull's songs from the wood, but not much more so
Bluray out of stock :'(
Aw hell nawt they make genital Giant into a 3d😭😭😭😭🙏😭😭
Only GG could have done it😉
LSD?
