Imagine what impression she'll get after watching her father abusing her mother and then her mother going back to him. And then they give the excuse that they're doing it for the child. I don't want to blame the victim. But if they have left that relationship and still went back to them in such a situation where there's no circle of abuse involved then people can easily understand what it is.
