My parents were concerned because I didn’t kiss a girl throughout high school. To me it was more important to be #1 in the world in COD, that opportunity wouldn’t always be there. Glad I made that decision.

The entire concept of merging games through Warzone was a mistake from the very start. Hands down, even Warzone was at it's peak during MW era.

Yeah the cold war integration killed the game and the vanguard integration cremated it. I still play it with my friend but that's mainly because it's one of the only games we play that has crossplay

No it wasn't a mistake. The mistake was Activision laying off all of the Warzone QA Employees, promising them raises, and then firing them. Activision's greed ruins these games. That's why Bungie split from Activision.

The execs are the ones responsible for the bad decisions like sbmm, rushed releases and hundreds of skin bundles. Rn the devs are trying to sabotage the games (only logical explanation for how one update screwed over 4 games) as a form of strike or revolt against the execs.
It’s a shame that they killed the literal best COD since bo2. Seriously, the campaign and multiplayer were revamped to a higher standard that the old call of duty modern warfare used to do. Then they started combining the newer cods and completely ruined the uniformity and balance of the game.

The thing is nobody wants Warzone on MW anymore. The modern warfare players don’t want it because every update breaks the game and makes it borderline unplayable-seemingly on purpose. Not to mention the advertisements for Warzone completely take over the game to the point where MW is basically an afterthought. Vanguard players don’t want it because instead of being able to play Vanguard then just jump into Warzone, you have to own and open an entirely different application, which makes joining games a major hassle. Not to mention the quality of life upgrades not matching, and the new game features including skins and clans for some reason simply not being present in Warzone. It’s fucked up, because I play Vanguard but I also love MW-and Warzone is killing them both. Warzone should essentially be an add-on that you can delete or attach to ANY of the modern era games as you please.

Couldn't agree more, MW 2019 was the game that got me back into cod , the engine, the reload animations, the sound, it was sublime, the original MW era of Warzone was the best. The constant integration killed the vibe man. It's like they go for shock value now ,like hey a new game ....buy it. But that's the reality, it's just a new game, not a good one.

MW2019 was the COD that made me come back to the series since Black ops, I loved it and spend so much time in it, i don't like Battle royales, so Warzone was no big deal to me, but then I started to realise they began to forget MW and focus only on Warzone, then the merging started with Black ops cold war and then I decided to leave it, Infinity ward made such an awesome only for activision to forget it just like that... I really miss playing MW2019
What’s sad is I loved this game, like I actually loved playing this game, and now I cant play more than one match at a time if that without my game crashing and it hurts to see a game as good as mw2019 go down the drain like this…

@@rommelthedesertfox3089 nahh it’s actually becoming a more known issue that the screen goes completely black or freezes during the menu. I can’t play a match without it crashing mid game or even load in to a match since it freezes up in the menu alone. I’ve even rebuilt the database on my ps4 and still no luck, activison needs to address and fix this issue!
On all platforms, including a beast of a PC, you'll always have packet loss issues which will cause your game to lag when you're near a player. It all started after Warzone was released probably because their servers can't take that many people playing. I even remember there was a que to actually play during the start of the pandemic when Warzone released after it's beta. This sadly effects Modern Warfare's multiplayer as well, as it was never as laggy as it was because of server issues

the Plane shooting is already patched along side many things, you dont have autolock anymore while in a plane so its almost impossible to hit shots now.
Warzone didn't kill MW for me. It was the fact that a data pack would always randomly delete itself and later the game wouldn't be playable because I have to install the missing data pack, but when you decide to do that, you eventually have to re download the entire game just for data pack 3.
Then after all that you run into another problem ,then you give up completely

I knew it wasn't just me. I've been putting in time on MW multiplayer and since the new warzone map came out, MW didn't feel the same. Terrible bugs and the lobbies just did not feel right.

Modern Warfare brought me and all my friends back together. Felt like the old MW2 days and it was so much fun. So sad to see them just forget about it.

Modern warfare is literally asss. It’s so realistic to the point it loses its aspect of being a game. So it’s not fun at all. I feel like a guerilla solider playing it.

MW 2019 was the first cod since black ops 2 that I actually really enjoyed and wanted to put a lot of hours into but as soon as they buried it with warzone they immediately lost me, they were basically just telling us that the game was dead. I'm not even surprised that cod messed up this bad once again, they almost gained back their fan base but of course fumbled the bag in The end
The biggest mistake Activision made was integrate Cold War with Warzone. Whole franchise went straight to shit after that and I can proudly say I haven’t touched Warzone since early this year. Moved to Apex Legends and haven’t regretted it.

I checked out some gameplay of Apex & it just looks too complicated for me the UI etc. I see people changing weapon attachments on the fly and opening boxes and there's this big list of stuff, looks too RPGish for me, I'm too OCD for that stuff, wish I had a good backup game though, WZ pisses me off these days

MW19 was one of the few COD's that actually tried to be new and unique, now it's literally just a blueprint for other COD's to build upon.

As usual its the c-level execs doing. Fire a bunch of their QA and have them re-prioritized to only work on Warzone. Everything else suffers. I didn't think we'd run into another horrible age in gaming, only this time its worse than its ever been.

They release a new game yearly now without testing it completely. They just say "Well looks good on our side. Send it out." It's the stupidest thing ever. They know that people will buy the games too so why would they stop doing it? They should seriously reevaluate their decisions and not release another cod for a solid 2years+ and gather all their ingenuity (if they have anymore of that left) to create a better game or just use that time completely fixing the current ones. They can worry about a new title once their current titles are actual complete games

I purchased MW2019 out of pure impulse, the first COD I’ve played since MW2.
To see it in this condition is shattering.
I’ve made new friends and made memories in game chat that I’ll never forget.
I played it almost every night and kept me somewhat sane during harsh lockdowns in Australia.
Let’s hope Activision wake up and separate MW from the newer titles.

When I got my ps5 I tried installing MW multiple times and could not get it to work at all. Kept saying packs were missing. That experience + just how unnecessarily huge amount of required HD space to keep you from playing other games is a total deal breaker for the whole series going forward for me. Didn't even think about Coldwar and Vangaurd, and the last CoD I played before MW was Black Ops 2.

If they continually degrade MW on purpose, there needs to be a lawsuit or a settlement or SOMETHING that allows players who have spent money on micro transactions a full refund. I’ve spent a nasty ass amount of money on this game during its life cycle hoping that I’d be able to play this game in a non vegetative laggy ass state, and sadly this game really has been degraded to the point where it’s unplayable. For all the people that spent money on this game and can’t play it in the same state as before should honestly get a refund
Edit: Yes I know I was a dumbass for buying the game like 5 times over just so I could have different operator packs (Ronin and Lerch are definitely still worth it idgaf what you say). But if the game they were made for is completely unplayable and broken as fuck, a state the game was not in when these purchases were made, is it really so illogical to want a refund? And yeah, I know, a giant company like Activision isn’t going to give a fuck, it’s pretty clear at this point.

Unfortunately there is nothing to sue for. Activision has the right to remove any content at any time regardless of whether you paid for it. The channel Hoeg Law had a good video about this sort of thing last year when the CW integration happened and the double XP tokens people had didn’t transfer over, and it was up in the air about whether that would be changed or not. It sucks but that’s the way it is. Lesson learned: don’t buy in game cosmetics.
I bought a shit ton of dlc on modern warfare and then all my extra content and characters were all removed and my account was completely gone randomly, I played on Xbox and I had only a 1.2 kd I had no reason to be nuked like that this game sucks man

Ever since micro transactions were introduced into the franchise, they’ve intentionally neglected important things in the pursuit of more money and it’s really just sad to see. I for one, support the awareness you want to spread, and I hope we see some real change in the future!

Two separate issues. I don't mind micro transactions, if it's for a game that gets supported for more than a year. If not, they have no place and I completely agree.
This is something I've hoped for since CW released. I want MW to be its OWN game, I hate booting up MW but seeing menus and content for another game entirely. It kills it a lot for me. I hate seeing unlocks for another game when I'm just trying to play Modern Warfare. They need to separate the games from one another entirely. Having all the games share the same Battle Pass, same Store, same menus is just silly IMO.

Literally dude, and on pc (idk about consoles) you can not download just the campaign for it you have to download fucking warzone aswell if you wanna play the campaign which will hog about 150gb of your storage. I am not downloading 150gb just to play the campaign (which was really good btw, but they had to fuck it up by integrating it with warzone). Honestly, fuck warzone.

Part off me feels like they stopped caring not only to put time Nd resources into vanguard but also fingers crossed into the new rumoured MW2 game that's set to release next year. But after seeing the pattern these last few years they might pull off the same thing again and leave the new MW2 unfinished or even use it as a new baseline for a "new" warzone then just abandon the game and leave it as like some attachment to warzone

I'm legitimately happy that you spoke up about this. I've noticed this happening long ago, and I'd tell my friends about it, but they didn't look into it too much. Now, MW is an unplayable mess, all because Activision just banks hard on warzone and whatever new game they shit out the following year. I'm really happy to see someone big speak up about it

Im disgusted ashamed and surprisingly shocked. What they've just done is legitimately criminal. A digital license for a game is no different than a physical copy of a product. Things that are obligated to last a decade or a lifetime. ITS A PRODUCT that we all collectively PAID TO OWN. Updates ruining the game like this calls into question every legal right to refund a game since it is no longer in any playable condition for which the 60-100+ dollar price tag SHOULD HAVE PROMISED. This game meant the world to me. It is absolutely sickening to see how they treating one of the greatest mw engine to reignite their own success, all while shafting their consumers $60 a year for a subscription to cod. On a lighter note, I think its time for yearly titles to be over. A fully developed one stop shop COD-Online that melts the best of every Cod title over the last decade would be an incredibly successful and insanely profitable move for them. Something that each developer can contribute to through the battle pass seasonal cycles. Just my thoughts

I fucking love MW 2019. That game saved the franchise imo and it's my favorite COD ever. I had a feeling this was going on when my buddy was streaming and he couldn't play without so many glitches.
The game literally killed my vibe while playing between the “sbmm” , streaks, footstep audio, visibility, maps
i was disappointed with the campaign it has its moments and a few good levels but the story was a bit cringe

MW 2019 blew up because it brought back the boots on the ground, traditional feel Cod had back in the day. It may not have been perfect but was better than jetpacks and wall running. Plus a new engine along with gunplay feeling refreshing, which is something that could not be said about the franchise for years
MW 2019 was the cod that brought back nostalgia of the old cod days with the boys. Once they started connecting the next call of duties together imo that’s what killed it all. I get it, Warzone was a huge success, but man.. was it really necessary to tie 3 separate games from different times together? It didn’t feel like MW 2019 had a unique BR anymore, it’s just a bad taste in my mouth at this point. It’s honestly surprising how forgetful coldwar was, it felt like it was out for a max of 6 months before vanguard came out. I get the feeling vanguard is going to feel the same too, and that’s what’s so terrible about all this. It could have been different, but they are greedy.. and that’s a very light way of saying it. RIP to the brief moment of greatness boys, I salute ye. 💯

Our only hope in a good cod is from Treyarch In my opinion, they have put out great games with the expectation of bo4 and cold war. honestly, these could've been great games but instead of them getting the full 3 years to make the game they always get 2 hence why cold war felt half-finished when it came out. Also, I just wanted to add that I think bo4 was a great call of duty even with 2 years of development instead of 3 it just had to compete with prime fortnite aka the greatest game to be released.
Cold war multiplayer was awful but the zombies was actually fun.

Bro I feel you. Whenever I get on MW on PS5, my whole game would crash after a match or during matchmaking. Not only that, but the screen would go black for a millisecond very often making me think that I blinked. The current state of MW is sad cause I really enjoy the game even now, but now i hesitantly get on, questioning if the same things are gonna happen all over again.
I never was really a person who really put hours into fps games, I was a casual player, would play for 1 or 2 hours and go onto another game. But MW 2019 took hours from me because I genuinely loved it. It made me more interested in fps games now. It’s really sad to see a game that’s still retail price that’s not getting the right treatment. Sucks to see really.

Crazy I tried playing last night and the title of the game was “I a8t ship” idk if it’s bugged up but I couldn’t even load in at all and had to download packs again and didn’t even let me download anything.

Soooo glad that you came out with this video bro!! I am a huge fan of the 2019 MW multiplayer and have literally played every day for the last two years. It has been an awful experience to play this game every time warzone updates. In fact, on my ps5, every update, the MW multiplayer game deletes itself because of a warzone update. It's absolutely disgusting how a multi billion dollar company, cant make simple changes without literally fucking everything up. They're useless. Hopefully they wake up to the atrocious, money stealing, fraudulent behaviour they've been showing and start to actually care about their games and their fan base. Pathetic.
FINALLY someone has a similar mindset as me with having devs stick with one game and keep updating it. I think CoD in general is dead, not in player base, just in love for there game

If you delete the whole game and reinstall it the problem will go away for a few weeks or until the next time they update the game

My modern warfare forces war zone updates that take 5+ hours and once it’s finished it freezes on the start screen not letting me even get into the multiplayer menu. Hope it gets fixed soon, I don’t get time to play it as is, I was really counting on it now that I am sick to pass the time.
Mw2019 will honestly be one of my favorite shooters of all time and I’m so upset that it’s in such a poor state. Everything about the game atleast at it peaks just worked so well rip 2019-2021

I've been aware of MW being crushed by its own creators since Cold War released and integrated into warzone. Sadly it is impossible to make millions of players around the world stop playing/spending their money somehow, even when it means better treatment from the company that sells us a $60 game every year and $20 cosmetic bundles every week. I'm so happy you use your influence among COD players to make them aware of this.

I've never experienced one of these game breaking glitches on MW, only things such as saving a load out and crashing not something that inherently interrupts gameplay
Another gripe is how many packs you have to install just to even play the Campaign or even try multiplayer. There’s like 10+ packs of constant downloading and large amounts of gigabytes.
Hey man, you can upload whatever you want, we enjoy watching the gameplay but we watch you’re content because of the person you are, which is a good thing. I just want Modern Warfare to be a standalone game again, the game we got on release, I’ll even take the BS Olympia and it’s insane range.
The cod game we got in 2019 - early 2020 was easily the best Call of Duty experience we’ve had in years. But Warzone’s integration has made it a huge mess to install.
You buy the game on disc, then it forces you to install Warzone, which is about 100gb, okay sure whatever, you then have to wait for a nearly 90gb update to install all the content for Cold War and all the microtransaction content, after that’s finally finishes downloading, you open the game to find that Modern Warfare has only installed warzone and none of the content you actually wanted to play, so then you start downloading the content packs for Modern Warfare’s campaign and Multiplayer, which lets add another huge chunk of space on top of that.
We’re looking at hundreds of gigabytes of space and we haven’t even gotten into the game we purchased in the first place.
It’s such a headache to install that when you finally do get into a match, you’re so salty that playing a match won’t even be fun anymore.
If I put the disc to Modern Warfare in, I’d expect to at least be able to choose what I want to install first, rather than it defaulting to Warzone.
Thx Man, Totally Agree & Always got issues when a new Warzone Update came out, everytime my content packs were uninstalled or Bugged, so with Some luck and a big amount of time i still could Play again, but since the new pacific Update, my content packs are Totally ruined and i cant fix it anymore .. i cant even start the mutliplayer or campain..

Started playing again two days ago after 6 months and luckily the only issue for me is black screen every 5 games or so, can’t imagine glitched menus/options/audio/matchmaking… still a damn shame
I can’t even play multiplayer on MW keeps saying I need to install data packs even though all of them are already installed. I even uninstalled the entire game and reinstalled yet it keeps saying the same thing
I respected you as one of the best and I'm beyond happy you're speaking out about this, I loved MW and really thought they could use that game for years because it was so clean and smooth, and with that extra time they could work on whatever the next game was and make it amazing, like battlefield and halo. I was having a blast playing mw&warzone with my friends during the initial first seasons and once they stopped playing I kept enjoying the multiplayer up until the cold war integration. Then I just knew they put MW in the ground by adding cold war battlepass unlocks, duplicates of the same weapons etc. all because warzone was so popular and cw was a below average cod
