    Gotta love the Q-Nami and that hot yaki looks delightfully simple. I’m also looking forward to seeing what accessories KJ might have coming to us this year. Cheers Chef E!

    Would swapping Oyster sauce for the Hoisin sauce drastically change the flavor profile, or should I go to the store?

    • @ChefEricGephart
      @ChefEricGephart Год назад +1

      Might be the next big thing. I would say go with what you have versus going out to the store again. I wish your sauce would be awesome⚡️

      @@ChefEricGephart I obviously need to do the Pepsi challenge, but it turned out fantastic. Added 2 tablespoons of sambal for a little kick. Thanks Chef!

      😂
      Teriyaki sauce has a very interesting history. It is widely believed that the cooking technique emerged in the 17thcentury in Japan, referring to the culinary method that was used to grilled food during the era.
      On the other hand, the sauce originated in Hawaii with the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants, who invented a new marinade mixing local products, like pineapple juice, with soy sauce, which eventually evolved into teriyaki as we know it today. “Origins and ingredients”
