É incrível a qualidade dessas pequenas fábricas paquistanesas. Trabalho técnico semi-artesanal, maravilhoso. No Brasil, seria impossível, pois os órgãos de fiscalização jamais dariam as licenças para uma manufatura dessa abrir e operar.
Yup, but the shitty manufacture of these just leave them as mild steel - means the gear fails faster and they get more business. Besides, they've got no way of controlling the heat to harden it properly.
Also if you look at the color of the chips (vibrant almost Prussian blue color), there is a lot of heat in that part that needs to leave that isn't because of a lack of coolant, at least in my experience. I took two years of Machining classes and most of it was on manual lathes and mills.

Anything involving a forge processe is amazing for itself
That was really cool. Seeing how things are made. So many things to make these days. That gear ⚙️ looked hella fresh!
Anyone here who doubted gear quality
"Quality" might be nonexistent in their dictionary. It's always "costs" first, "looks" second and "compatibility" the last and that's pretty much it.

Forging it adds a lot of strength to the material...it's at Victorian level quality, but then again: the Victorians conquered the world....

Doesn't the gear need case hardened, induction hardened, or flame hardened?
