The Nurturing Empathy Before Transition Project provides a chance for your primary school to have the Award-Winning Roots of Empathy programme for FREE.
Independent research on the Roots of Empathy programme has shown significant effect on children in helping to reduce aggression and bullying and increasing pro-social behaviours including kindness, caring and sharing.
The Roots of Empathy curriculum aligns well with OFSTED’s Personal Development Goals helping your school to develop these areas.

How does this work, what do you need to do? Roots of Empathy is partnering with the Youth Endowment Fund to find 100 qualifying schools in England to support further study on the impact of the award-winning Roots of Empathy programme on children’s pro-social behaviour and reducing aggression/bullying. The Randomised Control Trial study will be conducted by Sheffield Hallam University. Your school could either get the Roots of Empathy programme for free, or receive a £400 payment.
