When I bought GPL in 1998 I couldn't wait to drive the Eagle because Dan Gurney was one of my racing heros. It's my favorite F1 car of all time. I was lucky enough to see him drive in the Can-Am series at Bridgehampton, L.I. in '66 and '67. I also got to see him drive in the Trans-Am at Limerock. R.I.P. Dan Gurney. A true Legend.
The Mirrors are awesome! Looks real with that blur from the vibration yet still showing the scenery flying by, and the other cars behind you..! impressive!
For me, the Eagle was the most beautiful F1 car of 1967. The deep blue colour is such a beautiful shade, and the car doesn't have a spaghetti-like mess of exhaust piping on top of the engine like the Ferrari does.

So good to have you back brother!!! Love the tracks and commentary! I met Dan back in 2001 at a restaurant (Look out cafe) along a highway, Ortega Highway in Orange County. He was riding his "Gator" bike! Very humble man...
I already planned it but with this amazing Video about Gurney You really inspire me even more to get back to GP Legends for the 1955 British Grand Prix of Aintree after work today! BTW because of you I do comment in English although I'm Italian ;). Sad that Gurney passed away.. R.I.P. Dan
They should have released this on PlayStation 3 etc would have been hugely popular I’m sure. Amazing game. I’ve got a new PC so must reinstall it again. Amazing racing sim, best one I’ve ever played.

Absolutely love your videos. Keep uploading. The Eagle westlake was the car I drove most and I was teammates with gurney so I somewhat understood how fast her was. Rip
these types of tracks are cooler than modern circuits, if it was feasible to actually make this track safe with barriers and stuff that would be amazing
Been playing GPL since it came out in 98. Have a windows 10 machine now, and want to be able to get back in to the drivers seat...I don't want to waste my time with Assetto Coursa mods or I-Racing. Does the GPLPS installer still work?

I seem to remember doing 3 mins 14 in a Lotus 49 when I used to play this over 12 yrs ago now...loved it!

Look for the GPLPS installer. It's pretty much an all in one. Perhaps I'll make a video in the future
