  • In this video I fire up my 22' Weber Smokey Mountain and cook some Pork Belly Burnt Ends! Not only are these Pork Belly Burnt Ends easy to do they are also packed full of flavor! I mean they are essentially bacon cubes and who doesn't love bacon?! If you're in to hot and fast cooking this vidoe is for you but if you're not just lower your temps and add some time! But if you haven't give these things a try I highly encourage you too!

    These burnt ends look amazing 🔥! Great job bro. I like very much the Blues Hog Sweet and Savory rub, so I bet those gave a nice touch these burnt ends! Cheers 🍻

    Well done, Brian! I appreciate a longer video with the process detailed on the WSM fire control as well as the cook. Great looking burnt ends, sir. 👍

    Very nice work! I like the detailed walk through you made it look easy, I love my WSM I’m also a big fan of Blues Hogs, I appreciate the comparison between the temp probe and the lid temp gauge, 30° is a big difference🫡

    Very informative..was going to buy some pork belly at Costco, but I hesitated & bought a couple of round roasts instead. Now I have to make a Costco run & get some pork belly..they looked awesome. I used to be a royal oak guy until I started to find rocks & construction debris in my lump..definitely cheaper though. Great video.

      Thanks @Eastside Badger. There’s honestly not a lump that I absolutely hate to be honest. I just have a few I hold higher than the others. Lemme know how it turns out! Have a great weekend!

    I like the longer format Brian, was a good watch very informative. While i have BBQed for quite a few years i have never attempted Pork Belly Burnts Ends before, even for those that have seen other's content well worth sitting down and looking at your technique.:)

    Great Video Brian The reminder about lid position was great. The way you did burnt ends was really interesting to me, because I read one post from someone making burnt ends and it made a mess with all the renderings, rack & pan is the answer. Had me wondering if I needed to relocate wsm to grass. Final Product was Great.

    You have quickly become my favorite bbq channel. I have a 22wsm that I run with the billows and a smoke x4. I'm thinking about adding a pellet grill to the mix just for ease of use. Would you still recommend Rec Tec. I've been eyeing the RT700 for a while now.

    • @MadHorseBBQ
      @MadHorseBBQ  3 года назад

      Hey thank you I appreciate that! And I would absolutely still recommend that grill! I had the RT-680 which is essentially the same as the 700 and I loved it.

      @@MadHorseBBQ Damn that was a fast reply. Thanks for your honesty. I'm in Georgia and Rec Tec is semi local to me. They are a little over an hour from me. I also found Sucklebusters thru your channel as well. I did a brisket with the 1836 beef rub and it was a hit. Best brisket we have had so far. Keep the content coming.

    That was a great cook Brian! I like the detailed videos. The burnt ends looked delicious. In the water pan the grease form the pork belly collected, did you save that? It can always be used later. Nicely done brother! Cheers!
