great video, but you should include a reference to a derivation of effective voltage and effective current somewhere

@0:57 i don't think that is correct, the minus sign does not mean that reactance is lagging behind the voltage, that statement would be correct only if you had added (-i) before the Xc the imaginary number.

Video için teşekkür ederim. Xc ve Z ile ESR arasındaki fark nedir? Bunun ile ilgili videonuz var mı?

Can I ask why voltage and capacitance are inversely proportional and why does decreasing voltage increase capacitance (I know the dielectric will reduce electric field and hence reduce voltage). Would help to derive the formula C=Q/V and why it works.

Hey thank you for your question! Mmmm, you didn't interpret the formula quite right. The voltage U is NOT inversely proportional to the capacitance C. By that I mean, if you decrease the voltage, then the capacitance does NOT increase, because capacitance C is an intrinsic property of the capacitor. It is a CONSTANT. You need to think of the formula more like this: Q = C*U. So charge Q is proportional to voltage U, where the constant of proportionality is C. I will write an article about this on universaldenker.org and explain a bit better.
