Great bricks fishing fellows! Never have quite understood why you need such big gear though, I find using 5-8kg rod with a 4000 reel more than sufficient to pull out practically any size snapper.

This is season 6... We've had a few new boats since then as we're currently up to season 10 on TVNZ here in NZ. If you're referring to the 8m Gamefisher then we've still go that bad boy for another year!
