I don't like the way the trainer behaves towards her & how he calls her lazy before he gets to know her. To start off with a negative attitude is a terrible way to try to inspire people to care about their health. The trainer is difficult to listen to & watch. I'm going stop watching the video if he can't be positive & compassionate. Most people that are obese have been abused or have PTSD. The world has enough negativity without his attitude.
Wow. I have a conversion calculator and have been punching the numbers as I’m listening to this. 55 lbs (25 kilograms) in under 3 months is fantastic weight loss. I don’t know why the trainer said “only” when talking about the woman’s weight loss.
Yeah I get the trainer is good at what he does and he is there to give them a wakeup call but, losing that much in that amount of time is amazing. I know this is reality tv and all but they need to be realistic about weight loss.
The woman whose father told her she’d never look beautiful in a wedding dress; I personally think that her father had no right to say that whatsoever to her. What a way to mentally scar someone! Parents can sometimes say things to their children that at first isn’t intended to be cruel but ends up being that way. I remember once my mother said to me: you’d be so beautiful if you lost that weight. Now…this statement intended on being harmless but I took it to heart and it mentally scarred me. My mother wasn’t the thinnest either and was eating fried chicken most of the time and she had heart problems as well as diabetes..yet I said nothing to her about that because I was respectful as a person.🤷🏻♀️ To this day, I strongly believe that my mother was depositing her insecure thoughts about herself onto me at the time and also what she said really hurt me..but what I would give for her to be here now. She’s been dead for almost 8 years now.
Totally unnecessary for her to go through such grueling training. A low carb diet with some moderate walking would do the same thing and be sustainable.
I do not agree with the exercise in the beginning… most people have an emotional trauma or years of childhood abuse or neglect or whatever issue like loss of a child or other underlying issues which first needs addressing… next is learning about foods and what are healthy foods & portions ect… next is a complete purge of unhealthy snacks in the home… and stopping fast foods… next perhaps some cooking & food prep lessons … next is learning about what the human body requires daily including 6-8 glasses of water a day … limiting salt to less than 1 teaspoon a day … stopping the bad sugars … and stopping most packaged/processed foods … the last and final step would be the excercises after the weight is within a more normal range… in my opinion .. it puts too much strain on joints and the heart to force someone to run when they are 350 + pounds.
After a mere 40 days she lost about 15 kilos. That's outstanding. To be upset that she hadn't reached the utterly ridiculous target of 20 kg makes me sad. That's almost 2.5 stones. Medical problem? Only in her head and in the head of her coach!
As a victim of emotional abuse from my parents, emotionally cold mother & sarcastic father, I just want to say weight starts first with the heart & soul & then the mind kicks in. If the heart & soul issues connected to obesity aren't addressed first, the mind cannot help you. Just my opinion. I have been heavy most of my life & I take responsibility for it but my parents (& others), comments still echo through me which sabotage any attempt at weight loss. Mum & Dad were very handsome/beautiful & slim in their youth & thought I was to be the same--I am not--far from it. I am proof that a parents lack of understanding towards their child's weight can affect them for a lifetime. The thoughtless comments, disapproving glaces, embarrassment at their daughters physical appearance added up to an unhealthy need for food to console my emotions. Parents, love your kids no matter their size & with that acceptance & love, your child can be healthy physically, spiritually & emotionally.
They could have done this program without actually showing the woman necked. At least help them keep their dignity. Just because the world is seeking sensationalism, does not mean that they too should drop off the cliff too.
I am from Germany and honestly this is normal in most of Europe. People even Suntan top less at city parks. We were just raised in a society taught to take care of and respect our bodies, and not be shameful of them.
That trainer sucks. He’s just too judgemental and you can tell he looks down on her. You can’t help someone succeed if you already see them as a failure. He sucks. He’s just like her Dad so she should go find a female trainer with some empathy that can encourage her instead of already judging her before the first session.
@@cassanthemum4158 There's a difference between giving people the honest facts they couldn't see themselves and yelling at people for the sake of making a scripted reality TV show as emotional an sensationalist as possible. This is the latter.
I really think this is the most honest of all of this series I've seen so far. Her partner was challenged by her goals and made his own. Yes, as the showman he is, he went a bit overboard. But he backed down and gave her back the lime light. Amazing. I don't understand the negative comments here. But then, I am not a princess in a cotton candy world. This is reality TV. Go watch Disney if you can't handle it.
Agreed. But, people are real. Some people lose it. He only yelled at the baby - once. Should cause no lasting harm. Not a good thing, I know. But I can also see he was at his wits end and he knew it wasn't a good thing. Peace, my friend.
Bravo Girl!!! What a beautiful bride you made, couple actually! I wish you both the very best and keep healthy for your wonderful kiddos. God Bless. 💙💙💕💕💚💚
We used to have it in the US as well. It was not a supermarket but rather like a low key version of K-Mart : clothes, shoes, bedding, cleaning supplies. Our Woolworth also had a lunch counter and I have really nice memories of being a kid in the 80s and walking with my girlfriends to town center to get a burger and a fountain cherry Coke at the counter. It was a huge treat and we felt so grown up :)
she feels like herr boyfriend is trying to steal the show but she should be thanking her lucky stars people who lose weight like this usually lose their sig other because their sig other was just an enabler, so either they leave of the person losing weight realizes that and leaves so for your boyfriend to totally be all in on the weight loss is a great thing for him and your relationship, which after that, i can fully support and wish you the best
BS she just wants attention as well as people feeling sorry for her when she fails. She is just as toxic and at risk of dying if she doesn't change her behaviors as Nickacado🥑 Avocado is. They give drama for the views and subs for that RUclips $. Which they desire and put before their own body, mind, safety, and health which is tragically sad.
Set up for failure. All or nothing? Such loss she has just isn’t enough. WTH? Have to work on the mental even more than physical. “She’s just lazy” by a trainer?? Educate yourself
A key to not overeating is, put your fork down between bites or put one chip in your mouth, put your hand down and eat one completely, take a drink of water and wait a second before another chip. You eat less over longer time. Also, order one order of chips to share, don't get one for yourself
She is working so diligently and is truly a lovely woman. Someone I think I would like to know. Maybe your fiance wants to be alive to enjoy a future with you my dear.. Don't sabotage yourselves....and remember, men lose weight faster than women and ( re your father) words are harder than a fist.
Predict that she will put back this weight if she does not get some counseling . She lost the weight for the wrong reasons in my opinion. What her Dad said was cruel. He shouldn't have said it. But it is fair to say that an obese woman will not look as great in a wedding dress compared to one who is only overweight. And normal weight is best of all. I sympathize. I didn't bother with a white wedding dress.

Because when you’re that large u can lose 50 lbs a month easily.
That's because when you're that large, 50 lbs a month on a 1200 calorie a day diet, each month, she should've have lost 150 pounds

True.

I wholeheartedly agree. That trainer with his "3 sensible meals and 2 snacks" and emphasis on exercise is prehistorically ignorant.

33 pounds in 1 1/2 months is outstanding

Just astounded how when the trainer tells Mon how dire the state of her health, she's so nonchalant about it

I agree. I always hated when they do that to people on weight loss shows. It's bad enough standing there in your underwear while they weigh them.

That freaked me out when he yelled at the baby. I'm so uncomfortable with that

He was "crying" with no tears. He's a total narcissist! Wonder if they're still together.?
Funny how the father of the kids complains when he has to finally be a dad for just 2 hours a day.
Loved this!
I understand why he wants to lose weight when she does, she's not the only one who's allowed lose weight.

There’s a RUclips channel here, Amberlynn Reid, she’s been close to 600 pounds. She’s said that she’s not realized how big she got.

From supportive to “being a dad makes me want to crash us all into a tree at high speed.”
What a child.

I liked her partner at first but going on he seems to be self centered. I hope things get better for them and she has the life she deserves.
