Thank you for repairing such a rare laptop! Sony VAIO computers are pretty rare and hard to come by these days. I actually own the same model you have, and even used it as my daily driver. I hope that it is still working to for you today. By the way, good luck finding the VAIO drivers and software for that as Sony recently dropped support for VAIO computers after Microsoft dropped support for Windows 8. I'm guessing that they are going to go up in value now.

Haven't dealt with one of those before I'm afraid!
@@Adamant_IT I fixed it by putting electrical tape at the bent in the cable. The tape helped the cable to stay flatter and have stable connection.
