OMG! Fan girl giggled through epi 11! I appreciated how adult each of them were about the quasi love triangle that wasn’t. Hye Jin and PD were able to keep their friendship and Du Shik and PD keep theirs as well. They wrapped up some story points, they figured out that they’ve met in the past at least twice (he was the boy who danced for her to make he smile and he was the 100 won boy who made it possible for her to buy milk). LOVED Mi Seon experiencing what she’s put Hye Jin through when she’s dated lol. Very sweet scenes between Mi Seon and Eun Chul as well in both episodes. In epi 12 had a verklempt moment when it was revealed why Hwa Jung divorced Yeong Guk. They also started teasing about Du Shiks past with him having another nightmare and bumping into a college friend on their shopping trip. I predict epi 13/14 are going to introduce tension to their budding romance because of his reluctance to deal with and talk to Hye Jin about those missing 5 years. Hoping for a HEA at the end but afraid that it’s going to end up a sad comedy like the production person said PD was filming while watching Du Shik attempt to teach PD how to surf. Oi! Please don’t let that be foreshadowing of the end of this series. I’m loving how light hearted and fun HCCC is and how they resolve most things quickly with just a few overarching mysteries. Lol yes much of epi 12 was cringy as they worked through Hye Jins bucket list, but cute as well that they were so happy to be together finally.
I really hope they keep the happy vibes we’ve had throughout the series. Even the really serious moments usually end up being resolved with something lighthearted or comedy. I think they’ll keep that aspect through the rest of the episodes. I think there definitely will be some tension between them over Dushik’s unwillingness to talk about his past, but I’m hoping he overcomes that and finally realizes that he does deserve happiness! They were really setting that up with her asking about his ex girlfriend and meeting his old college friend. I can’t believe there’s only a few episodes left… I’m so excited for next weekend!!
