Happy to work with any builders or fabricators in the US and supply a kit directly to them. This is a recent video but instead of having a new engine fitted, Jed had the old ETEC lying around and thought why not fit considering the lead times on new outboards. We would generally recommend a 200HP to a 250HP for this vessel however the 150HP ETEC performed quite well in the seatrial. If you have any other questions about the vessel or anything else in the range feel free to get in touch. cncmarine.com.au/range-3
Yep new video, boat was launched May 2022. Long waits on outboards at the moment and happen to really like 2 strokes, particularly the etecs. The 150 has recently been replaced with a 225 (another etec).
Not trying to be rude but would you be able to give a ball park price for the fit out only as I am considering doing the same thing. By the way the boat looks great
So you “skipped a que” to join another que and still wait 3-5 months without even seeing what your buying??? Hahah yeah you really tricked people there 😂😂💀
There’s a lot of keyboard welding experts on RUclips. It’s one of the most critiqued things in fabrication. Everyone has an opinion. People think the whole boat should look like it’s been tig welded like a high end aluminum bike frame with perfect coin stacked welds. The truth is production boat welding doesn’t work like that, and if it did you’d be paying three times the current cost for a completed hull. So you’d complain about how expensive it is. The hulls are wire welded which is fast and produces a strong durable commercially acceptable result. No one would pay three times the price for a pretty tig welded hull. It’s just not practical.
building in alu since 82, the test of a planing boat is into a good head sea, boat needs 44 degrees deadrise station 2, to land softly and wave jump
Thats pretty steep, where are you considering station 2? - Can you give me an example of a boat that has this?
Nice. How many anodes and locations are used?
ask Blueyfabrication

Always keen to do a side by side comparison when you do a build!
