@@mikehannigan848 I guess I'm confused by OP then -- the DFL candidate in Roseville won with 65% of the vote (nearly 2-to-1) and the DFL candidate in Shakopee has a lead of 14 votes after the recount finished. Wouldn't it be subverting democracy to ignore those voters and install the GOP reps instead? That's the only way the state GOP could avoid a power-sharing agreement, since neither party won a majority of the seats in the state House
The democrat won by 14 seats, and 21 uncounted ballots were confirmed to have been set on fire. I don't think it's unreasonable for the Republicans to dispute that one.
Wake up it's all about power. They blew an 18 billion dollar surplus 2 years ago raised hunting, fishing, and park fees. Passed a 1% metro wide sales tax on most purchases for roads. Property taxes are getting sky high, and schools complain they have no money and kids test scores continue to decline but hey the state gives $18,000 to every public school for every kid enrolled on top of property taxes and is still not enough How much did the 18 billion extra spending help your life ???? The state budget office is forecasting at least a 5-billion-dollar deficit in two years but that could grow. Democrats love to spend taxpayers' money even your social security when you retire. It's never enough for democrats they will spend Minnesota into the ground someday,

"the party of democracy" subverting democracy. Who would have guessed?
I never really agreed with the GOP calling themselves "the party of democracy" in the first place, I guess this proves the point
@@MartinPhi That's the Democrats. And they cry like 2 year old's when they loose iron fist control.
The GOP lying about a majority, getting in the way of the business of legislating… shocking
@@MartinPhi ...did you...not think about your reply before sending it?

The Roseville one is an embarrassing disgrace. In Shakopee, Republicans need to learn to accept defeat.

Why do we pay these people?

What you are saying is a perfect example why we need a two party check and balance system. The DFL spend us into a oblivion if they are not stopped.
