Yes and Yes? basically there are store bundles to unlock some of the guns early but you gotta hope that the bundles needed are available to purchase in the store haha
They put a security update in a couple of weeks ago that should have hopefully taken care of that. Unconfirmed it myself personally but I haven't seen any reports lately of it so we're probably good.

I just recently reinstalled this game because I really think it’s one of the better COD games if not best in the past four years “IMO”Especially if sniping and score streaks are your forte.
