The food in Bologna is amazing. I had a pasta dish with al ragu' sauce. Delizioso! Their al ragu' is pretty much their bolognese sauce. I even had pizza by the slice at a place and it was good.

Bologna is often called the food capital of Italy. They have a lot of amazing food places there. We’re going to be heading there soon.

We hope you visit soon. Florence is a great city. It’s exactly what you want it to be, you won’t be disappointed. There’s also a ton of day trips you can do from it to explore the rest of Tuscany.

Yes, I go to Italy every year on a road trip, I'm from Belgium but I drive to Italy once or twice a year to road trip, my favorite part is definitely Liguria, all those towns there are simply amazing and way better than big cities. Visit bordighera or dolceaqua and everything around there.

Haha they had dominos? Had no idea. Ah they’re becoming popular here since the first opening back in 2019 I think it was.

@@vernonandmaryana dominos tried twice to open hundreds of chains in italy and the Italian people boycotted the chain making them go bankrupt. This happened twice haha, they tried coming back with a different plan but the Italians went even harder and they had no customers, they lost millions

Chianti wine is made from Sangiovese grapes. I lived part of the year in Tuscany in the Chianti area for 15 years in Rada and Chianti is the Chianti classical wine Institute I would recommend going to that area area and doing a wine tour. You could start at CastelNuevo berardenga go all the way to Rada in Chianti. Along that road there are numerous Chianti wineries. The institute is a good place to go to have a meal and to get some education about Chianti wines.

@@vernonandmaryana I don't understand why America tries to push their fast food chains onto Europe. Europeans in general are not too fond of chains, while in USA it's nothing but chains and mass productions. Europeans love natural food and cooking at home, the complete opposite of USA. Also, it doesn't make sense to open domino's in italy, it's like trying to sell snow in the north pole. Usually those chain pizzas are like between 15-20 euros for 1 pizza !! And it's made with mass produced ingredients, not fresh. When I was in liguria I found this little pizza place that sold a whole pizza Margherita for only 3.50 euros! Handmade with local ingredients out of the wood fire oven, so why would Italians pay 20 dollars for less quality product made with mass produced ingredients? I don't like American chains at all, I avoid them at all costs and I wish they would be banned in Europe because it destroys our food culture
