There was a 52 year old motorcyclist that drove over the liquid and he had a fatal crash. There were other cyclists that had crashed to.. RiP

The other one crashed his bike and got heavily injured himself. He got transported to a hospital in which he died. The Nordschleife was closed for several hours.. May he rest in peace.

Probably a serious crash up ahead, blocking the way (pile up of cars). They are trying to help their engines cool down. Some cars got the engine in the rear, hence the boot. If you've added horsepower to your engine, it's going to develop more heat as well. After driving hard, you're supposed to drive slowly for a bit, to help the engine cool down (airflow chills the radiator while you move). But if you have to stop abruptly, it can cause overheating issues. Resulting in damage + costly repairs.
This "traffic jam" was caused by a car that lost some cooling liquid over 100m. A 52-year old motorbike then slipped on the cooling liquid and died later at the hospital. the track was closed for a couple of hours

Bei den LED-Rückleuten vom Porsche (wie bei allen andren auch) wird das von der Kamera als Blinken aufgenommen, obwohl es für das menschliche Auge als durchgängiges Leuchten wahrgenommen wird.
Musstet ihr dann warten bis die Strecke freigegeben wurde? oder konntet ihr rückwärts zurück fahren? xD kann mir das iwie nicht vorstellen, aber die werden ja vorne auch keine mehr rein lassen also von daher solte es ja gehen^^ Und heisst gelbe Flagge nicht das man nicht schneller als 80 fahren darf? du fährst da mit 120 durch bei 1:45.. na ey, tolle erklärung. das flackern kommt daher, dass die LEDs nicht leuchten sondern in einer sehr schnellen frequenz blinken, die für das menschliche auge als leuchten wahrgenommen wird. die kamera nimmt auch nur eine gewisse anzahl von bildern auf. da beide zeitpunkte "LED leuchtet" und "Kamera macht ein Bild" früher oder später mal auf einen zeitpunkt fallen, leuchtet die LED mal, und dann gibts wieder Zeitpunkte wo das nicht der Fall ist, daher ist die LED auf manchen bildern eben aus.
Solange man sich an die Verkehrsregeln hält, zahlt die Versicherung des Gegners. Ist es Eigenverschulden... dann hat man Pech gehabt... oder eine Vollkasko :D! Für die Nordschleife gelten alle Verkehrsregeln wie im normalen Straßenverkehr außerhalb geschlossener Ortschaften auch. Also auch Tempo 100 und das Rechtsfahrgebot und links überholen ;).

I'm just amazed at the vehicles they allow on this track. Saw a big hulking Chevy or Ford SUV and a smattering of econo-boxes. You'd think there would be a certain size/weight/horsepower proportion limit enforced. Why would a driver of a 1.6L stock Golf, Renault Clio, or 1.8L MGB convertible even bother?
Monochromatisches Licht = Licht, das nur aus einer einzigen Wellenlänge zusammengesetzt ist, also nur eine einzige Farbe enthält. Das hat mit dem Flackern nichts zu tun, das ensteht dadurch, dass die LEDs nicht durchgängig leuchten, sondern gepulst. Wenn man eine konstante Spannung an die LEDs anlegen würde, leuchten die auch dauerhaft und würden nicht flackern.
Du meinst das "flackern" der Lichter, richtig? Das kommt dadurch, dass das LED Lichter beim Porsche sind. Die haben die Eigenschaft auf Videomaterial zu flackern ;)

Ist es denn vom Ring geduldet schneller zu fahren? Quasi unter Ausschluss jeglicher Gewährleistung. Weil ich fahre doch nicht auf den Ring um dann mit 50 km/h in einer langen Schlange rum zu tuckern und andere Möglichkeiten gibt es für Privat ja nicht drauf zu kommen.
