I just thanked God. No musical artist has ever reached my soul like Toy Caldwell

This was one of those, "turn it up" songs. Great song to cruise to

Perfectly captures what a man feels in a bad marriage: self-doubt, sadness, a drive to go somewhere ANYWHERE, and regret. Lived it. And yet...

Roadtrip, summer of '76, I was 18 and went from Chicago to Phoenix and back three times, and each time I took a different route. The whole country seemed to be partying for the Bicentennial ( 200th Birthday ) The world was filled with young boomers, and the diversity of music was just incredible and exciting. With youtube, that music is being listened to now, and it's agreed: it was good music. Period. Yes there is diversity in music today if you look hard enough, but it's not mainstream like it was in the 60's and 70's. I am so happy to see positive comments by today's young people, as it proves that this music is good, and "being there" is not required to enjoy it.

First heard this in 75 when I transferred from the USS Midway to the USS Constellation , it brought back sad memories of the girl I lost and have never been able to forget😥

Greatest band to ever disappear, huge for a while in the 70s and then they just disappeared, like the band Boston, same thing. Incredible music, think we'll be listening to any of crap today in half a century.😂😂
