And these colleges are solely made up with a goal of cutting edge research , unlike IITs where most of the people are only there for a high package job and not because for the love of a subject. (Ofcourse, exceptions are always there)

The platform that these premium institutions provide you to build your dreams and to make great connections with people who are the best lot and faculties who are scholars with great insights that they lend you so that you emerge out as a well nurtured, equally meritorious candidate to take on the world; he is talking of that.

Wish some day a student from arts background builds a unicorn. Listening IIT IIM always became boring. Why can't there be premier universities for other streams? Those who studied social sciences in good institutions are even looked down. For ex. JNU is said best for Arts. Imagine the stereotyping of JNU alumni.
If you don't know, IIM has students from all backgrounds, be it Engineering , Science, commerce and ARTS too. If you already have a platform for our country where anyone from any stream can come and create businesses, why do you want to start a separate race of institutions ?
