Undertale Banger Incoming...
Ever since my first Undertale remix, I have grown more attached to the soundtrack of the game. It also doesn't help when you have a sibling that loves playing the game. The Papyrus Theme Song seemed very simple to do, but I decided to turn my remix in a more complicated arranged with a lot more obvious sidechaining.
It's also been a while since I did an energetic house remix and this felt like the perfect opportunity to make another one since they're one of my favorite types of tracks to make. I experimented a lot with Flangers and Compressors for this track to make everything sound more polished. I hope this one sounds great to y'all!

Woah, Caleb, excellent work! Right off the bat, it sounded like this remix had an even more vivid and punchy sound, and it's abundantly clear that all the extra work you put into processing and sound shaping is paying off here. And although I'm not super familiar with the original, I know it well enough to recognize that this is a much more detailed and enriched arrangement!
I love that the instrumentation creates all kinds of feelings here - from playful, to spooky, to straight-up intense - it's all very fitting for the battle theme of the mischievous, yet earnest skeleton. -to be honest, I always preferred this theme to the one associated with that other skeleton- And each synth really comes across clearly and cleanly in the mix. There are definitely some of your signature sounds here, but the aforementioned processing and effect application makes them sound noticeably more invigorated! Also, I really like that this remix has a certain "bounciness" to it - and not just in the percussive element, but in the synths themselves. That sidechaining is really putting in work here!
That said, I really like the drums here, as well! These sound like some of the hardest-hitting samples you've used yet, and I like the extensive use of drum fills and lead-ins. Honestly, I admire that you're able to integrate rhythmic mix-ups like that into your remixes so often, and it makes the beats feel very fluid and they transition well into one another. And speaking of song flow, the fade out-here is an interesting choice, as it's not used in tandem with an already-arranged ending - definitely unexpected, and really cool, honestly!
Man, these are some of your best visuals yet! Great choice of color for the beat circle, and the swirls look kinda menacing in front of what appears to be some kind of distorted and scratched up background - a little bit of a mindtrip, really. And the thumbnail looks superb, as well! I like that you used different artwork of Papyrus for the visuals and thumbnail, and the semi-transparency of the image used here is a nice detail. Excellent work all around, Caleb, and I hope this one picks up lots of traction, especially for all the effort and care you've put in! 🌟
