خطبة رائعة جدا جدا جدا
وخصوصا في هذه الأيام صار كره للدين بسبب الدين السياسي
اكره السياسة وليس الدين الدين راح ضحية للسياسة

سؤال أود لو يصل إلى الدكتور : هل يمكن اعتبار هكذاخطب ومحاضرات وحتى ما ألف حول جدلية السياسي والديني في أدبياتنا محاولات يائسة لاستلهام نظرية سياسية في الديمقراطية من ثراثنا الذي تتوزعه التأويلات المؤدلجة والطائفية المتضاربة وحتى المتطاحنة؟ الم يحن الوقت لنبذ الثراث كلية (أمر عسير على ما يبدو،لكن يستلمه تأخرنا التاريخي المهول) وتأسيس مجتمعات عربية مدنية على أسس من الحداثة والعلمنة؟ مجتمعات لا تستند في حياتها العامة لاي مرجعية دينية ،مع إمكانية حصرها في الفضاء الخاص؟الا يمكن اعتبار انشغال الدكتور بالثراث متناقضا مع تلميحاته المتكررة ل ضرورة علمنة المجتمع (مثلا اشارته واشادته بتركيا العلمانية والغرب)؟

اجمل مافي التعليقات ان بعض الحمقى يتهمون يتهمون الدكتور بالتشيع ويشتموه وبالطرف الاخر نوع اخر من الحمقى حيث يشتمون ابو بكر وعائشه وكبارالصحابه لان الدكتور تناول بعض الرموز الشيعيه ...
Mr. Ibrahim should not speak publicly about politics which is clearly something he has little grasp off (that is if he is not intentionally confusing the subject). I suspect that he bases his views solely on Weber’s article “Politics as a Vocation” which is a deeply conservative essay and not a representative of the concept of politics and thus discourages any political change in the Arab world by giving monopoly of religion to the tyrants that rule over Muslims. In fact, such a statement is a counter revolutionary one allowing tyrants to remain the sole speakers of Islam such is the case of the Saudi regime. Finally, I think only a Protestant (Calvinist or Lutheran) can comfortably say that religion and politics belong to different and separate spheres without contradicting his/her faith. Only a Protestant views politics as exclusively worldly thing and separate from faith.According to this doctrine, a Christan is saved not by works but solely via faith which is different from Islam.

I think Mr. Ibrahim is better off (for yourself and the viewer) focusing only on religious matters and leave politics aside all together. After listening to his speech, I think he should spend sometimes studying politics before he holds a future public talk about and misleading his listeners. I am not sure whether he has limited knowledge of politics or he is intentionally misleading the audience due to a personal agenda he has. My main grievances with his speech are as follow: First, he does not define what politics is. Also, he does not explain why politics is separate field in and for itself in social life? Second, he tends to collapse the concept of politics into the concept of power without explaining the leap of faith that he is making. Furthermore, he intentionally again collapses the concept of power into violence (which he refers to referencing Weber’s definition of the state as a monopoly of legitimate violence over a given territory). More importantly, he falls into a reductionist error by collapsing politics into power as realists account but that is an ideology and not politics. As such politics could be defined as idealism, utilitarianism, or pragmatism to name a few. Finally, I don’t think y he appreciates actually what is politics; to be political is to be human and to exercise the very faculties that makes us a thinking beings. As Aristotle famously notes, “Man by nature is a political animal.”

I think it's clear what dr.A.ibrahim is addressing her. that laws of any group of people should reflect their religious beliefs as he stated that most if not all Islamic countries constitutions mentioned that sharia values are the main source of the state's laws.
Do not use religious provocation to gain power.
