There can be a lot of factors as to why someone is a good coordinator or not at different jobs/teams. I think Getsy will be good if he isn't bound by a coach. Give him an idea of what is wanted and let him make it happen without interfering. I don't believe AP is the type to interfere.
Idk didn't like this hire but he sounds more confident, relatable and flexible than I expected. Maybe it was a Chicago problem and not a Luke problem.
Just watched some film… it was a Fields problem. WR’s we’re getting open, Fields couldn’t see it. Getsy can get it done.

Yeah they did that to remind us what the raiders old school style/swag was and what brought the raiders success! John Madden Al Davis AP and Gruden are probably just a few of the most legendary coaches to ever coach the Raiders and don't start on me about Gruden he was a great coach back in the day he lost his touch when he went to ESPN but I still believe he was cooking up a Superbowl roster. I just think he gave certain players with red flags more of a chance then they should have gotten but Gruden cared about his players and football like AP! The passion for football is what I'm referring to! Love my raiders through thick and thin! Mark deserves huge credit for this move he finally listened to the fans and his players and separated himself from the financial aspect of the game. I think mark finally realized he can make money in Vegas no matter what they do but the fans deserve a winning team in vegas! We gotta give him credit he burned a ton of cash to get here.

Now that I got to listen and see who Luke Getsy is as a person -- his vision is EXACTLY what we here in Raider Nation NEED.. A man willing to curltail his Offense to the players we have speaks VOLUMES. Josh McDaniels IS NEVER willing to do that and thats why he is a terrible Coach.

This makes NO SENSE! We have one of the best opportunities for any coach… new stadium, no state income tax, up and coming talent in offense and a defensive threat… incredible energy, and the best fan base in the NFL…

It's a month later now Mr. Getsy , Penix and Nix are having or will have their top 30 visit. I'd like to know about your offensive scheme, how much of it can you adapt to Penix & nix as well as Daniels if we end up betting the farm for him. I'm talking about 70 or 80 % of the full offense. How much of O scheme will any one of them have to learn that will be a completely new concept? Will they get the chance to sit this year? Will that be something you lobby hard for? Most QB's that have sat the first year, usually end up being a better overall QB. One other area I would like to address is moving our best WR to the slot. Making this move gives Adams the chance to help all of our QB's relax even more as he will be that check down they know can catch & run. He will get many targets and open up the deep ball more for tucker and Jakobi Meyers. Plus in the middle of the field we have Mayers that would be a great down field blocker. I think making these type of changes will help confuse the defense and raise our points per game average well over 30.. Thanks for your time and effort you will be making this year.
