Salah- not the most efficient striker... Maybe because he isn't a striker?
I mean he was a Striker. LoL
@@runrafarunthebestintheworld he ia not striker, salah is winger. The only Liverpool striker is Origi
Hard to be efficient when at any given time he has at least 3 players surrounding him
Also I love when people judge our front three individually. It's the trio that you have to judge and that is a pretty epic trio
Liverpool plays with 3 strikers.
And overrated doesn't win 2 EPL Golden Boots in a row, one of them with the maximum goals in a PL season.
Fernando Pizarro Villagarcía it’s called popularity contest buddy Mane should of been in his position instead.

Salah is an amazing player. Mane and Ferminio can miss so many opportunities and no one says overrated. Now and after his amazing goal in United, now he's overrated? Are you kidding me?
I think people are complaining about him shooting instead of passing to a different player in a better position to score.
Firmino is selfless, please don't even think of mentioning him. His sacrifices and hard work are what allow Salah to perform.
Mané also does more work out of possession and is a better ball carrier.
Salah has very poor decision making at times which is why people question him.
He's a top player no doubt but his greed in front of goal when there is a teammate in a better position is infuriating.
He's not overrated and does great at drawing defenders away from others.
Blind faith madam, the other two are team players n he's selfish guy
Sounds like Arab
He should have put Minomino away yesterday, but he takes the shot himself and it gets blocked.
Overrated ? They only game they draw was the game he didn’t play , the second he gets the ball you find 3 or 4 players from the other team around him . He Exhausts other teams and that gives a chance to other Liverpool players to be more free .
That's why he are to past to a open teammate just like Messi does more often or not
So you gonna tell me Mane don’t get the same treatment. He is not overrated but he surely not the most ’important player in the team. Every time he score he’s overhyped by his fanatics that why he is being so selfish. He needs to work on his decision making.

anybody who talk about salah not being the same player two seasons ago don't know anything about football. i shouldn't have to explain why to anybody who consider themselves football people..... liverpool's attacking dynamic is way different now than how it was a couple seasons ago. the whole team's emphasis is on managing the game and spreading play throughout the entire team. before salah's mentality was the team is going to attack and attack and that it, but now he has other tactical responsibilities that drains offensive energy.it's like a sacrifice for one thing for another.. because of this he has become more selfish, but he's not an overrated player because he's still helping the team achieve what they want to achieve.
You're right . For me What I have seen last season Liverpool scored more goals and the opponents team got some goals but this season they score with clean chit .
I think the coach changed also few style of playing for mo salah .
If you look him playing he has a target to spend time on the ball and the adversary team get tired very early then some of Liverpool players benefits goals because salah.

While I agree with you, salah set the bar so high the last two seasons he is having somewhat of a rough patch but the guy has tons of quality and it will show when liverpool need him most.

But think about it broke the record for goals in prem won golden boot twice in a row with them. Won the champions league and is about to win the prem with Liverpool. Mo has a big problem. No doubt he is one of the best players, but the problem does not belong to him, it is mainly with us. We expect him to score every time he gets the ball. This doesn't happen in the real world.
True
@Lockjaw That is exactly what I mentioned. We expect him to be the same and compare his performance with them. He is one of the best, but he is not (at least now). In addition compare team players with Rolando or Messi team plays. Compare how many passes Messi and Ronaldo get in a match with how many Salah gets. See how many goals Salah created alone by himself with Messi and Ronaldo created.. I do believe that Salah could have done better if no one competing with him in his team (I mean Mane and Firmino). Not to mention the best in Liverpool, I mean Arnold, he never passes the ball to Salah....Long story, but I dont expect him to score as teh first season at Liverpool. He is surrounded by 3 defenders everytime he touchs the ball...yet he stil score !
@Lockjaw Not really arguing. Messi and Ronaldo are not as Salah. You may compare him with other stars, Mane, hazard,, Fermino, Harry Kane,, Sterling, ...etc one of them one day will reach Messi or Ronaldo status, but for now, none is like them. That is the main problem for Salah. As the first Egyptian to be in the spot, people expect him to be as the top ones. This is my point. He is a good or excellent player, but evaluation should be built on normal evaluation not as the one who makes miracles.
Exactly, he had one outstanding season where everything he touched turned to goals. He hadn't had a season like that before and hasn't had one since. This is his level. He'll score a few, and waste a few.
@@paulcoffield2102 We are on the same way of thinking. Yes; score few and waste many or few as an ordinary (good) player. That is how we should evaluate his performance...and if we do that he will be still one of the best in Liverpool .

Not one game bro. Multiple games.
When mo playing, liverpool win the game no matter who ever scores. That all that matters
Feels like a really streaky player because he's a bit unpolished in his ability to control the ball and find that perfect shot in the final third but that's partially due to the fact that he plays at a faster pace than almost everyone else. But he goes on enough hot streaks to put up lots of goals each year and those moments of pure brilliance. His pace is also great enough that very few can stop him 1 on 1 which forces more defenders to come to him, pulling the defense out of shape and opening space for others.
Yea i trippled captain salah in the last second i wanted to switch to TAA, but kept Mo. i hope he can do something in the west ham game
I realise why it being asked. the thing is he takes 2/3 players away from others! hes so fast and does come up with goals. If he scores 20 prem goals again, that's a great return for 3years. We have been crying out for a 20 goal a year forward, now we have one,we complain he isn't perfect. He is greedy at times but all the greats are , as they say
Salah could be leading in assists if he improves on his decision making
Salah is a huge reason Mane has had a great 12 months. Teams have double marked him leaving more room for the other side.

Mane creates most of his chances on his own. Both him and Firmino would have more goals if Salah made the right decisions in the right areas.
This is bulshit
The different is
In 2018 he turn defender inside out and score wonderful goal.
In 2019 he turn defender inside out and come back again wanting to dribble so much
The different is also
In 2018 he turn defender inside out and has chance to score
In 2019 he has other responsibilities for the team other than just attacking/scoring, and when he turn defender inside out, 2 more defenders on his face because they know Mo Salah now

Just because he isn't scoring as many goals as he had in the last 2 seasons, doesn't mean he's declined or anything. He's a constant threat on the pitch and a complete player. You cannot stay on top playing the same way for too long.
Salah haters will always hate regardless of what he accomplishes. Even if he was to win back to back pm league trophies or even miraculously help Egypt win the World Cup he will always be overrated. IF MANE OR FIRMINHO MISS A CHANCE OR DO ANYTHING WRONG, THEY NEVER GET JUDGED. People are putting a lot of pressure on Salah and that’s not OK. The guy is performing three seasons back to back at Liverpool and proving the people who say he’s a ‘ one season wonder’ . Give the guy some credit and stop complaining!!!!!!!
1 He's not in his best form yet. But it's very close now. With Sadio got injured, more pressure to Salah.
2 He's always marked by 2 or more enemies. In 1 on 1, you might get daniel-jamesed by him. He's a very dangerous player.
3 He's pushing himself to score and some times it's just too much. I agree the man should know better when to fight and when to pass for a better chance. And all the lads will fix that soon together.
Main problem nowadays is that people judge players based on goals, awards are given based on goals. That is why top attackers in the world, those who battle for awards and such always tend to be selfish and make mistakes they would make if they were to play team football. Salah many times has a teammate wide open, in better position and he just goes for the score. Same happens to Cristiano, Messi, etc. But Salah isnt up there and people dont forgive him the same way they do with megastars like the other two.

We can't expect Mo Salah to be just as good as he was a few years back. The opposition expects him to do things now so they tend to stick with him a lot more, but even then he can deliver an amazing game. He is very frustrating because of how inconsistent he can be, you don't really know which Mo Salah you're going to get from game to game and at times it's like he wants to do everything himself and he tries too hard. I think not being in the starting team for a small period would be good for him, maybe he can come off the bench. That being said, Mo Salah could probably walk into 80% of the starting teams, even with all his issues.

*ESPN's football video content is so unhinged.*
Salah was unstoppable two seasons ago because the style of play was different. They were an attacking team that played heavy metal football. Now, they're a well balanced team with everyone carrying their weight.
He’s got room
To improve I wouldn’t say he’s over rated he’s had a good team since joining Liverpool FC he just needs to train harder and practice more to become highly rated but for what he’s done over the last couple of seasons he deserves his rating

Wait Salah isn't a striker but scores as many goals as a striker
Similar to Sterling. Misses open clear chances but somehow comes out on top with some goals.
When Salah scored record number of goals in his first season, media made him and people believe that Salah is the new Messi. Now, after average couple of seasons, he is where he was before he joined LFC. He needs to be less selfish and keep his head up to look around who is in best position to take a shot. Sometimes he just runs with the ball like an aimless chicken.
Well thank you very much for watching ESPN on eeeeeuuuuttttuuuubbb
Answer? Yes! Simple watch him up close at a Liverpool game and watch how frustrating he is. We need someone who can challenge him and his starting spot at Liverpool.
Salah basically had the best goalscoring season in PL history, which was a one off which and was always going to be impossible to reproduce. Just because he’s not scoring the goals doesn’t mean he’s a worse player. He’s still world class and vital for this Liverpool team
Salah can improve on his decision making 100%. Theres times where he needs to pass instead of shoot. He also appears to be unsure of what he wants to do when squaring up a defender, then gets in a muddle and loses the ball. Just needs to keep it simple and get his head up it will do wonders for his game.
If he keep doing it..easy win can be like last two games..an action must be take...we can't keep doing each game like this event we can score goal at last minute,..luck is not always with us
Why dont they talk about Harry Kane like this? If salah was English they would big him up non stop.
Salah is not overrated, he just set the bar so high that people hold him to those high standards of 2017-2018 ‼‼💯
Yes he is. If he had no pace, he would not be in Liverpool
Sir Switch Crookington then please explain how he has been winning the golden boot for the last two years
@@confusedone2235 because he outpaces the slow and average defenders of the PL
It's the same reason Vardy broke records, speed kills(and masks other deficiencies).
@Anas Salah scores most of his goals through pacey counter attacks and because of the team he plays in and once every 10 years he'll score a worldie from 30 yards. Take away his pace and take him away from Liverpool or any top club and all you have is a player who has a weak opposite foot, suspect finishing on his strong foot, and scores a worldy once in a while. Salah is intrinsically not a word class player, the circumstances surrounding him are what makes him what he is.
No. he's had ups and downs this season, if you think he's overated look at his solo run against Man U last Sunday or some of his incredible goals as part of the Reds
Liverpool is a team team (lol). What I mean is everybody does their role, Salah always does his role. Makes plays when he needs to and draws defenders to him which opens up space for others.
LOL his solo run? Mate he had a straight run at goal. Didn't he miss a sitter earlier in the game?
Salah’s decision making has been way off this season. His skill and pace are still there and so he can get back to his peak form if he can sort himself out mentally
It is a split second decision in front of the goal and sometime it works and many times it doesn't.Very simple.Michael Jordan missed over 9000 shots in his career
and was considered the Best of his time.Ok?
He`s not overrated, he scored so many seasons when he arrived at Liverpool and i believe he is trying too hard to reach that level again.
The amount of chances he gets he should score more eventually that will cost us and you can also see it at least twice a game where Mane what’s to shoot him and he gives the ball away more than anyone else in squad again that is going to cost us
