I remember old man Bush came on my boat when I was in the navy. I saw him but didn't get to say hi but I remember how deadly serious the secret service guys looked walking him around. Even on a navy ship they looked ready to rock n roll at the drop of a hat.
When I was in college, during the summer I worked as a gardener on the Rockefeller family estate in NY. When Nelson was vice president, of course there were Secret Service 24/7 on the estate. I remember seeing them often chasing after Rocky's kids in golf carts. Kids sped past, followed by the agents. They always waved, laughing all the way. Guess it was a pretty chill assignment in the big scheme of things.
Old Man Bush and his wife used to eat pizza at my favorite pizza place and a number of times I would be at the table waiting for my food and the SS would come in and scout the place...it was so often that we recognized each other and I would tell them don't worry about me I know the drill and I will be getting my food to go! He was a neat guy but Barbra was rude and not pleasant at all.
Man, Chadd is just such a solid & salt-of-the-earth type. Chadd could be cockier & more of a braggart yet he remains humble & down to earth. That’s just really impressive & a testament to his character. Also, I admire how Chadd is about as straight a shooter (no pun intended) as they come. He tells it like it is whether painful or not. He doesn’t sugarcoat, self-aggrandize or minimize things no matter the subject whether it’s about his time in BUDS, his years with the SEAL teams or even regarding his current exploits. Just a solid dude & I love all the content. I have always dug hearing about people’s careers and lives and most importantly what made them what they are today. I love hearing about people’s paths & their histories. I love when people share their life trajectories. Also, the content with Chadd & Chili is inspiring & comedic gold.😂 Thanks for the content & al the hard behind-the-scenes work you put in to bring us these videos. It’s must appreciated. Keep it up!👍🙂 Edit: On a quick side note: it’s a total trip seeing the contrast between young & clean cut SEAL team Chadd with his current older & retired SEAL mountain man look.

Those are the same bunch preaching all electric vehicles and telling us to stop driving big SUV's to stop global warming. Yet they make everyone go through all that mess just to move them from one area to the next. Rules for thee but not for me. Just my personal opinion. New subscriber here, love the videos keep it up sir. 🇺🇲👍🏻
A weak handshake from a man instantly signals their desire for power and control over you. Yes, it stems from weakness but means the opposite of what most people think. Be careful around these people. They own real estate in your head the moment they shake your hand like that. Nobody forgets that kind of handshake, especially from powerful and important people.
Weird, but I follow where you're coming from. It's like a sort of disrespect. "Thou may grasp my hand, peasant, but I have not the need to spend the energy to squeeze your common calloused palm."
What absolute dogshit are you talking about? If there was anyone that desired control, it's someone with an overzealous handshake like Trump. That was the whole reason he did that stupid handshake before he got wrecked by Justin Trudeau and shook him like an orange ragdoll.
I would imagine him being on time to everything would give anyone with disingenuous intentions a slight upper hand. Being he would be predictably in place for an attempted threat of some sort. Don’t really know why him being late to everything was such an interesting memory and stuck out to you, but I appreciate the video nonetheless. Thank you for your service as well, greatly appreciated!
Bad guys aren’t going to leave because he’s late. Punctuality equals professionalism, and for military and para-military organizations, lack thereof will get one written up (at best). For a military man lack of punctuality is mind-numbing, and for some unforgivable.
I like your common man's assessment of President Obama. Interesting details. I feel like you can tell alot about character thru a handshake. I'm beginning to like this channel. 👍

I was on the detail for that trip in both Senegal and Tanzania and also saw the same signs haha, we probably ran into each other and didn't even know it, good working with you and we always appreciated having you guys around.
I had a brief encounter with a secret service agent long ago. Papa Bush was flying into town, and some of the secret service came in early on our airline. Pretty much the whole forward bin of the plane was gun cases. I was off loading under a watchful eye, and let out a holy sh** , as they just kept coming. The agent standing next to me laughs and says , oh this is just a first load more come in with the president. The guy I met was pretty funny while at the same time keeping an eye on everything going on.
My brother was a ceremonial guard for Obama when he came to his military college for a primaries debate in 2008. Said he was very personable to him and the other cadets. Couldn't say the same about Hillary Clinton. They were nothing more than "the help" to her.
@8:57 it’s common sense if you’re in another country it doesn’t shine a good light on the United States if Secret Service and Navy SEALs were walk around with your M4’s in your hands everywhere you go.
You mean waste, as in waste of tax payers money, or the fact that they make us feel guilty of our carbon footprint but is fine for them to utilize 20 aircraft to move them around the world.
Watch what you brag about Josh Acevedo. Chinese and Russians are now finding out what you do. Jk. I call bs. No one with current access would be absent minded enough to post about it.
Good talk, new subscriber. I'm retired EOD and augmented USSS for 20+ years with George Bush, Clinton, George W..and Obama. As well as 100's of other VIPs, all over the world. I agree, most of the time it was a $hitty job and a huge waste of tax $$. I remember one assignment in Uzbekistan protecting Madeleine Albright. I remember seeing a huge amount of furniture, rugs, artwork, etc being loaded into a C17, being curious I asked the SA in charge and he said Madeline had been on a shopping spree.
Loved your insight I offer one correction. Just a fun fact. Africans tell EVERY African American that visits africa “welcome home” because you know, that’s where our ancestors came from hence the saying “go back to Africa”. The Africans saying welcome home to Obama had nothing to do with the racist conspiracy theory that the black guy isn’t an American citizen and everything to do with Obama’s dad being from Kenya.
@@jorges2112 oh that is your fever dream isn’t it. You are probably desperately wanting to send your son to be obama’s bacci bazi boy. Barry sotero, aka Barak Hussein Obama was born in Africa. That disqualifies him from the presidency.

I also met President Obama in Oakland and yes, his hands were disturbingly feminine. I remember getting to the campaign stop to the Pillars of the Black Community upset. They were bothered that President Obama had over a 20 SUV motorcade and 40+ armed personnel. The reason why they were upset because they felt like the Secret Service was protecting him from them. One gentleman pointed out that when President Obama was going to campaign in Beverly Hills or Orange County, CA they wouldn't be as deep. It was very intimidating.

“A bunch of African dudes believed he was from Africa…” I think it was more than that. Didn’t we have a show put by another politician asking for his birth certificate?
Backyard Conversations is my favorite series on this channel!
I respect and honor your military discipline. As the inimitable G.K. Chesterton observed, "Submission to a weak man is discipline. Submission to a strong man is only servility . . . The Colonel is not obeyed because he is the best man, but because he is the Colonel."
Thanks for being so respectful of that office. We respect the office and whoever occupies it.
What if Putin occupies it one day? What if a demented senile loon was installed after a stolen election?
Respect the constitution, not a person in an office
Nah.
Zero respect for the puppet in there now. Speak for yourself
You respect the office. That man deserves ZERO respect, and so does the current imposter.
As an African I will tell you something we say welcome home to every black man that returns to the continent not because they were born there but because it’s to make them feel at home
Really you should say that to anyone of any race as humanity was born in Africa 😂

Weak handshake 😂 i spit out my black coffee
as a marine, i sat off the coast of eastern africa for obamas visit. we were his "911" force if all else failed.
Thats why Trump was so great for prez, he wasn't a figurehead. The establishment hated that. He stood alone.
Thanks 3 of 7. This was one of my favorite videos. Very interesting description of real-life SEAL (and SS) duties.
Love the stories. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your service!
Being late is a strategic advantage. Imagine if he were to keep the schedule EVERYONE expected. Vulnerability goes way up.
😂 weak sauce handshake - you saw into his soul, son! Not much there, huh? 👻👹
This back yard conversation is by far my favorite! Chad, you articulated your experience perfectly. I definitely got your point. Thank you for sharing this story brother.
Please keep up the great work you are doing with the 3 of 7 Project.
I remember old man Bush came on my boat when I was in the navy. I saw him but didn't get to say hi but I remember how deadly serious the secret service guys looked walking him around. Even on a navy ship they looked ready to rock n roll at the drop of a hat.
Say hi to a known pedophile. Father Bush was named by numerous people to be part of having sex with children. Sick
@@remaguire rocky was dick Cheney 1.0. A pure evil globalist.
They should have thrown Bush overboard then everyone could relax!!!😂😂
Former C5 crewmember here. Moved O and GWB. Fine folks in the Secret Service and all of the folks doing their jobs.
Love your stories. Keep them flowing, brother.
Keep it up!👍🙂
Edit: On a quick side note: it’s a total trip seeing the contrast between young & clean cut SEAL team Chadd with his current older & retired SEAL mountain man look.

Thanks, Chad for your role in protecting Our President.
I could never be a Secret service agent for moral or ethical reasons, would be too tempting for me to be an assassin archetype to these tyrants.

Politicians are actors
That's what I want to know. Who's actually calling the shots ? Every politician should had to worked a 40 hour week job for 5 yrs to be be in office.
This "dude" referring to Obama. Love it!
I always let go and re grip then look him or her in the eye let them know that suit don't work on me
What absolute dogshit are you talking about?
We’ve known what a POS Obama was before he was elected.
Who handshakes since Covid. My best advice…never trust any man in a suit or uniform, with a title or holding a position of trust, power or authority.
Thank you for your service Chad.
I’m happy to have discovered your videos and I find them all very interesting and insightful.

There is a 'Barack Obama's Ancestral Village' in a place called Moneygall, Rep. of Ireland...
A weak handshake is all I need to know. Respect.
A handshake is worth a thousand words.
Thank you, Glad you made it back home brother..!!
My brother was a ceremonial guard for Obama when he came to his military college for a primaries debate in 2008. Said he was very personable to him and the other cadets. Couldn't say the same about Hillary Clinton. They were nothing more than "the help" to her.
He should have challenged Hussein Obama on his citizenship.

Gee I wonder who paid for all that.

He was from there. His dad was Shia and so was Hussein Obama.
