What's out: The need to always be consulted about every change and decision. What's in: I'm happy to help and add value wherever needed.

I'm really working on bringing succession planning to the forefront of my org, as well as clarifying goals. If we are the *only* person in our org that knows how to do something, they never feel like they can take time off. I think that goes back to accountability, and I hope that is on the rise!
I love the talk about goals and recentering! I definitely agree that I hope micromanagement is out. I certainly don't have the energy for that.

Starting at 19 minutes was SO spot on in my opinion. From what I see as a 25 year nurse and current nursing leader it is very accurate.

What's In for 2024? - Do some self-reflection and become more accountable. What's Out for 2024? - Have Vicky Victim and Debby Downer park their BMW in the garage and leave it behind!
