  • Today the intersection of information, life and matter display complexities that suggest the possibility of a much deeper synthesis between machines, humans and their context. Architecture today must participate and engage with the information-rich environments that are shaping our lives by constructing behavioural frameworks that will allow for change, embracing a adaptive and participatory model of living.
Our response is a design search for systems that have the capacity to learn, be self-aware, self-assemble and structure spatial interfaces. Models of the past cannot operate, as blueprints for our future, a new generation of design enquiry by necessity must rise up to the challenges of today. The following research is a small contribution to this evolving project.
