This is an absolute groove, I wish you the best of luck. I have been following since your tiny desk concert dub over of T-Pain, would be awesome to actually see you on there
you deserve to win, i've said it before and i'll say it again, your stuff is godlike. can't wait to see how you can improve (because no matter how incredible you are you always can)
I absolutely do not mind seeing this again. I really hope you make it on there. I think your the perfect amount of musical oddity that the NPR tiny music desk loves.
You're the most original keybordist I've ever seen... wow, I'm just blown away by the coherence and originality that everything that you do has. Please keep pushing the boundaries of what's possible and make more amazing stuff!!
While I wish you had more publicity and a strong following, it's nice knowing that I'm one of the lucky few that get to watch and appreciate the music you work on. Well done as always, and keep the sounds coming. It's really awesome watching your technique not even just with the simultaneous playing of your instruments but also your knowledge of theory and piano playing with the classical vibes.
Great original music as always. I especially enjoyed the ending, because i couldn't imagine otherwise how long it took to set all this up. Setting up instrumentation, interfaces, drum triggers, drum mics, all while setting up lighting and capturing live video (not to mention editing afterwards!). This was really a labor of love my friend
As a keyboard player, I envy your setup! haha, so much cool control, and you got me hip to Moldover through that cool controller. Good luck to you, we submitted as well! - Dutcher Snedeker
This is mindblowing but wouldn't it be easier to loop the drums after you play for 8 bars? This is the first time I've seen something like this! Amazing!
There is one dislike at the time of this typing. It is my guess that the person who disliked the video is a drummer who fears not only losing his job but harbors a rampant fear that machines will one day take over the world. I would have a studio full of Polyend Perc drumming machines but, alas, the little buggers are $449! I think, for now, I'll buy just one and attach it to my real drummer's scalp in an effort to help him keep proper time.
LOL! TBH, I don't even see this as a replacement for a drummer. It'll never have the nuance and organic feel of a human. I see it as an extension of my electronic rig, and an exciting new way to perform. :)
@@GLASYS Well it could be posted a million times and still be good! You have inspired and demoralized me all in one video haha! But I'll try to catch up to you. Keep up the good work!

This is one of the most talented musicians I have ever seen. I can't understand how this only has 13K views (as of Nov 2019). Blows my mind.
Thanks so much 🙏
Really appreciate the kind words!
Often like that, unfortunately.
RUclips is mostly leaded by kids tastes.
It's one of the reasons why youtubers make dumb faces on their thumbnails.
So good! You are always my fave NPR tiny desk contest entry! Fingers crossed you win it!
Thanks so much Kandy! Really grateful for your support! 🙏
You are pure keyboard inspiration!
You've got mad skills.

Contest?! Yeah, like there's gonna be something better than this! Contest over. GLASYS winner.

Thank you Summer! 🙏😊

Congrats! Can't wait to see you rock out on NPR. Have you been debating on what gear/instruments to bring?
Ha well let's see if they like it first :)
Killing it!! So cool
Dude!!! Sounded so cool man love the percussion and that weird detune on the piano 👍 one with the synth!!
Thanks James, glad you like it! :)
I really hope you get it. Been a fan for a while and I would love to see you on the show

Liszt meets trap! I love your style. You're a unique one in the musical cosmos.
Haha thanks John! That's the first time anyone's described my music that way, I dig it 😄

Thanks so much! Is that the new Moog Matriarch you're holding?
@@GLASYS i wish! but it's the mighty grandmother. Where can i see your presentation with the orchestra? I missed it
@@alexandrinna the Grandmother is awesome, has such a beautiful tone. The orchestra show should be up on YT at some point, not sure when.

Thanks for the kind words! Well, the drum patterns changes throughout. Also, I enjoy playing them live :)
U are a genius, the world need know u
I wanna see you live
I'll be announcing show dates soon!
Love ya Bro
Came for your live midi art, stayed for the awesome performances
Thank you! Really appreciate you being here 🙏😀
You need that midi controller to light up the piano keys you play with it. I bet loads of people miss that you're doing bass and drums with one hand!
Down for an album of this yknow? Keep it up!!!
It's on the way! :)
youtube recomended me your chanel... I'm so happy it did :D
So am I! Thanks for checking it out Sern :)
This is further proof god loves me and wants me to be happy
Holy fuck. This blew my mind.
His brain is a quantic computer!
When are you and t pain getting in the studio together?
We did in 2017... didn't lead to much unfortunately. He didn't seem too interested in actually making something.
Dat drop at 1:52 tho
You and Stevie W. need to work on a duet! Stevie used to do a lot of synth stuff like this. Interesting what you guys could do...maybe just a dream.
That would definitely be a dream... thanks man! :)
How did it eventually turn out with the contest? This submission is obviously amazing but I never followed Tiny Desk contests I guess.
They featured this one as one of their faves but I didn't win. I'd be shocked if I ever won this contest, my stuff is way too nichey for 1st place. :)

can this guy just get on tiny desk?
How?
Practice :)
as expected from master-finger 2000
I can think of at least one more appendage that could be controlling something
You should win. 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks Dau! ❤️
has anyone seen my jaw? i think i left it on the floor somewhere
Is it just me that thinks this should be in a Castlevania: Symphony of the Night OST :D
Funny you should say that, I have a SotN cover coming out soon :)

Yeah, I had to re-upload to meet the contest's requirements.
