A Caribbean series I'm looking forward to is a show called "Jumbie" it is centered around in Trinidad and Tobago and the main lead is female though it's not centered from the islands I'm from just getting a show based on Caribbean culture and Mythos, Culture, and legends is really exciting you should check it out!!

I thought the makuzi spirt racer was a good short, if it was an anime i watched. It just has so much potential. The others were alright too but some are kinda one and done storylines.

My personal theory is that there's no anti-woke angle to farm content from, or a severe lack of quality to mock. But to be fair, Disney themselves barely marketed it so alot of folks don't even know it exists
@@Animaine7030 yeah, it honestly baffles me, they're in the middle of a creativity crisis, a ton of people complaining about the lack of originality. They Market the hell out of a bunch of average productions, and when they finally make some african-centered ORIGINAL stories, that actually have thought and heart behind them, they practically sabotage it by not marketing at all. The mouse has lost it's fucking mind.

It's not my thing since anthology series don't usually interest me, but I love that there's more content by African creators on Disney+. Hopefully this isn't the last of it. We really should have a show or movie that uses African mythos.
