That line from X-23 "You were always the wrong guy, till you weren't" with the softest of her voice and looking at him like she doesn't want to cause any pain has so much emotion that it can make a grown man cry.
It did. We cried. Behind our laptops and phones where nobody could see us. Lowered the volume and played that scene over and over again. Fathers of daughters. Grandfathers. Grown a** men using lingo like "the feels" and tearing up at that little scene. I can't watch this movie with my daughter, I'll be a puddle of brackish water.
The actress was great in Logan while still a child, and now as an adult she was great in The Acolyte. Can't wait to see her bring to life an older version of X-23.

I adore that Deadpool seems to be concerned about rescuing nine lives. Not "the city" or "the galaxy," but simply the people seated around his dinner table.
It would be totally different from the other Deadpool movies if that's the case. I would be staggered if this is not unrepresentative of the actual movie. Hugh is basically playing the same role in the narrative as Josh Brolin did in 2, that of a straight man to Deadpool's stand up comic persona. Since the entirety of the last two movies was to subvert the po-faced seriousness of the X-Men franchise, it wouldn't work if Reynolds just started playing it straight, or the other characters stopped being deadpan stereotypes.
From people that have watched it already they're saying this movie is the MCU saviour. It's one of the best superhero movies ever done. I'm watching it on Wednesday, so not my words there just to be clear.
The way Hugh is portraying this version of Wolverine is amazing. He’s so haunted and guilt ridden you can see it in his eyes. I love how she points out “yeah you always were the wrong guy”. He’s the last person you think would be a hero but he always gets up dusts himself off and throws himself into the good fight. Let’s fucking go.
The best thing about comedic characters like Deadpool is that when they pause with the joke for _just a moment_ - *that emotion hits like a truck.* I absolutely cannot wait for this!
I still love the crashed Hell-a-carrier in the distance, only for the camera to rotate 180, and you see the 20th Century Fox logo in the dirt behind him. Yeah this movie is going to be perfect.

The cast is freakin phenomenal!
The way Hugh is portraying this version of Wolverine is amazing. He’s so haunted and guilt ridden you can see it in his eyes. I love how she points out “yeah you always were the wrong guy”. He’s the last person you think would be a hero but he always gets up dusts himself off and throws himself into the good fight. Let’s fucking go.
