the staccato thing you're talking about isn't super common in khh but its definitely more prevalent than it is in western music, and i'm pretty sure it's because the korean language has a lot of distinctions between more aspirated consonants and regular consonants that when pronounced very clearly and forcefully sound punchy to us (think ㄲ vs ㅋ vs ㄱ). people like jo gwangil are a great example of this. but i'm also not korean nor do i speak korean, i'm just a very long time khh fan that has looked into stuff like this, so if anyone knows the real explanation and im wrong pls correct me!
I like how monsta X used drill and blase seems respectful but that's all. Leave it to khh and black people(mainly black people)...no kpop groups need to do this. I mean maybe ateez and monsta X??? But other groups need to stay away Also, yes khh artists are definitely more advance and "diverse " when it comes to rapping and stuff.
BLASÉ has really good music! I've been listening to Drop it religiously since it dropped
