Looks so cozy but efficient. I’m always moving stuff around, I think when you spend so much time in a space, it’s nice just to have a change anyway and refresh. Xxx

It makes me smile seeing you sliding two or three fabrics in and patting them, then two or three more and giving them another little pat. Very restful to watch, Jayne.

It’s sweet how lovingly you handle and touch your fabrics. 🥰 I love my seam roller and use it lots at my machine. I’m waiting for a Hera marker to try it out for marking quilting lines instead of chalk or marking pens. I’m looking for apps to design my new sewing room. I lose the little furniture paper pieces when I cut them out. 😂

    Hey Jayne,
I totally understand the motivation to rearrange and seek studio perfection! I’ve got a desk in the garage and dream of one day having a cohesive space. Have you ever done a video about your machines? Is that a industrial machine that is in most of your videos? I struggle sewing thick and stacked materials but don’t know about getting a more powerful machine.

I would love some stash.Sadly I am a lot larger than you or I would be buying your used clothes. How do you stop the fabric from being dusty and fading on open shelves? I love, love what you are wearing.

The room looks very neat and organised. I just brought one of those seam rollers for my patchwork. You can use the curved end of the turner as a making tool, like a Hera marker.

😂😂🤣You're as bad as myself love, I got rid of my big table. decided I needed the tiny room more mobile, got a little table on wheels with bonus cubies built in, got little 9 cube unit & added casters, then turned an old pantry unit over side on- again added casters, Sounds prefect don't it, guess again lol. The black resin shelf unit that holds all my old sewing machines is blocking easy access to one other set of shelves in the room. Since winter is mean & black ice swiped my feet out from under me the bending around to use that set of shelves is very uncomfortable. So back to the drawing board we go, 1 room need to be more mobile than is, 2 only cutting surface is on different floor, ( because i've spoiled me i gifted me 2 spaces to sew in house), 3 need to store & access all sewing machines. Here's the game plan, purchased 1 more shelf set, metal instead of resin, gonna have 2 sets of shelves 18 inch by 36 inch, bought casters to go under them , arranging to have the metal uprights cut so wheels & all these shelves will come up to about 34 inches high , when rolled together they'll make 3 ft x 3 ft cutting table, they'll both share the job of storing machines & they can be rolled around easy to allow access to the shelves that the previous one is presently blocking😜☺I believe the room will finally function well once this is done, hopefully by the end of this wkd.
