Hello, I can try to help! This VAE valve is really bad, but it is only used for cold starts and air conditioning, the idle speed has a screw on the throttle body that needs to be adjusted. Regarding the brakes, remember to bleed all the calipers and even bleed the clutch actuator, as this will ensure that there is no air in the system. The TPS sensor can be adjusted to have more idle speed and also more or less power in the engine, it is not the cause of the idling problem, but test it with the multimeter on the ohm scale and see if the resistance is continuous, without any errors on the tracks within the TPS. The relief valve is connected to the vacuum hose that goes to the intake manifold, if so, that's correct. Well that's it for the moment, I have the same engine but it has FuelTech 500 which helps a lot with the setup, especially the turbo. Good luck, I hope I helped with something! Att. Jefferson Sorry for any writing errors, as I don't know English.
Hello Mate , chnage olil put 10w50 or 10w60 ( in origin the engine was running 10w40 not 5w40 that`s for the modern cars, the engine is running in this way also for this issue )PS email were sent , have a good one
Hello Mate i have a Coupe with your same setup and I am machcanic , you have one piece mounted wrong that could create this issue , ( in your intake manifold on the left side ,you have the air sensor hidle that should mounted in horizontally and not vertically ) check the manual ( if not clear I can send you an email with a pic how should mounted) PS don`t forget to map the car with the test bench , Good luck , enjoy your time
Heyy mate! Thanks for the tip! Do you mean the air temperature sensor on the back? If you want you can send me a mail at info@jtscustoms.nl thank you so much!!
Also... I dont want to pretend to be smart.. I bet u did much more on cars than i did.. But i just went threw all or your coupe project videos... When u switched to kappa manifold..i didnt notice that u closed those 2 extra wacum lines that manifold had.. Or u just didnt mention it in video..if not mybe try with that.. Might be the issue 😅
Haha thanks for the tip! I closed them on purpose because I removed the fuel vapor recycling. The more I investigate the problems the more I think of reinstalling it. So you may be right😅
Ohhh I feel your pain !! All that money and effort and no luck ?? I thot I'd upgrade over the winter my ignition system on my 1978 VW T2 campervan ! New power coil and electronic distributor! Ehh now it won't start 😢 Takes me back to 1998 when I restored a 1972 Lotus Elan. No modules or computer then, everything so simple 😊
Don't give up pal, you are doing a fantastic job
Thanks man! Just a short break and I will be back stronger🤟

Hey just a little bump in the road what a fantastic build !! I'm sure it will run right in the end!! Is that a intake manifold from an intergrale?
Its a bumpy road this one😂 the intake is from a lancia kappa.
I have a 16vt coupe myself I love it!!
Did the manifold bolt straight to the cylinder head with no adaptions?
It is a direct bolt on but it requires some trimming and a lot of relocating stuff to make it work😅
