Garrett must be that good for you to say that there was some autotune in his performance, no dear what you've heard was his pure voice. singing competitions here in the philippines do not use such stuffs. On the other hand Regine Velasquez being the host of the show was her personal choice because she's not into judging coz people might misunderstand her when she becomes one, As a matter of fact she already hosted a lots of singing competitions here in the philippines. FYI aside from being a singer RGV is also an actress and host. she has done a lots of drama series and movies.
Possible Regine declined to be a judge..cause it is a pain delivering bad news if singers were not able to perform well...because Regine is very down to earth singer so that is very difficult to criticize the new singers...and Regine is always praising new singers to boost their confidence to be on their best rather than showing what part they can improve more..

i like you comments, just wondering thought what do you mean by digitally corrected voice, I guess with other singing contest abroad might be using this kind of voice effect. Just to be fair with the contestants and the show "The Clash" I don't think they are using it, I've heard the comments of judges they still find some flaws every single singers here. I may not be the best to answer on this but I was still able to hear some flat notes, lacking to sustain the note sometimes, the right spot to breath and other technical issues from the contestant. I bit you dudes about 4-5 contestant here seems to hitting right low and high notes, to name the few were Garreth, Josh and Mirriam, Thanks for the nice comments.

Kase kung anong napapansin ng viewrs sa performance ng bawat clashers ayun din ang puna ng judges. The Clash is actually produced by GMA network and Regine is just the host. I think it was inspired by USA's The Four. Garrett Bolden has African-American blood. He auditioned in Asia's Got Talent before in order to get exposure and have a chance to meet his dad who left him when he was young.

Well I know Garrett personally and both of us have mix blood. I was also a product of national competition and Garrett and I auditioned together back in 2009-2013 so we don't use Auto tune or some sort and here in the Philippines we don't use such. The Clash isa new singing competition show in the Philippines. There are lots of great performance in that show as well as performance with flats and sharps. That’s why i’m pretty sure that show never used auto-tune. Also, Regine doesn’t want to be a judge and the network that she’s currently have contract with provide her freedom to do what she likes.
The contest is almost at the peak as they are now on top 6, and yes garret is a brother 😎, regine is more comfortable as a host rather than a judge that is why. Maybe you should check out for the other contestants cheers 😉 Thanks again for the vid reaction grats.
Most of the singers from ABS CBN came from GMA... BTW this is a Singing competition so there's no autotune or some sort of digital voice editing on Garrett voice😂

She (Regine) was even the host of the singing contest where in Sarah Geronimo won the title. (Star for a night)
She is actually a good host and she already did for several shows in GMA. :-)

In Every famous singing competition where every famous singer now Regine is always the host...she said before to her interview she wanted to be the host instead of judging. And yes your right she's one of the producers.
The Clash is actually produced by GMA network and Regine is just the host. I think it was inspired by USA's The Four. Garrett Bolden has African-American blood. He auditioned in Asia's Got Talent before in order to get exposure and have a chance to meet his dad who left him when he was young.

Regine being the Queen herself has always been also no. 1 supporter of amateur singer where she also started. It is her show. She has always been the host of her own show. She had hosted lots of star search show and produces Sarah Geronimo, Jonalyn "Jona" Viray, Rachelle Ann Go etc...

I am also wondering, I was only able to watch an episode of the show, and for me, the voices of the contestants sounds so perfect sometimes that it's like its prerecorded or maybe fixed digitally.

Well I know Garrett personally and both of us have mix blood. I was also a product of national competition and Garrett and I auditioned together back in 2009-2013 so we don't use Auto tune or some sort and here in the Philippines we don't use such. We have great talents here, and Garrett Bolden is one of those people.. That's all for me. Love you Bro. Garrett Bolden.

Bad move for GMA to make Regine a host, but ABS-CBN is just waiting for Regine to transfer and promise, they will make Regine the Queen by placing her as a judge maybe in The Voice, X Factor, Tawag Ng Tanghalan or any Talent show in ABS.

in a interview regine says that she dont want to be judge in the clash because when she heard a miss notes it reflects in her facial expression and she dont want the singers get intimidate in her facial expression. check it on 24 oras in chika minute segment.

The Clash is a 2018 singing competition produce by GMA Network, hosted by Asias Songbird Regine Velasquez. Judges are Lani Misalucha, AiAi de las Alas and Christian Bautista. It airs Saturdays and Sundays in the Philippines. Winner will be the next singing superstar of GMA Network.
she hosts the singing competition because she said doesn't want to be a judge because not everybody sings perfectly. And when she used to join competitions.. She was judged as well. She said she knows how it feels to be judged. That's why she's just hosts.

Singing contests in the Philippines don’t use Auto tune. Each singer contestant in every talent show is judge on their natural voice.
The Clash is a singing contest here in the philippines therefore they don't allow to use auto tune whenever they are on the stage.

The Clash isa new singing competition show in the Philippines. There are lots of great performance in that show as well as performance with flats and sharps. That’s why i’m pretty sure that show never used auto-tune. Also, Regine doesn’t want to be a judge and the network that she’s currently have contract with provide her freedom to do what she likes.

What I like about this show is that they don't really use special mics or sound effects. You'd really hear their real voice.

The contest is almost at the peak as they are now on top 6, and yes garret is a brother 😎, regine is more comfortable as a host rather than a judge that is why.

For the credit, we don't use auto-tune in any singing competition here, that was 100% raw talent. Jealousy lvl 1000

BTW this is a Singing competition so there's no autotune or some sort of digital voice editing on Garrett voice😂

His voice is not auto tune.. Lol regine velasquez the host even said that it sound like recorded becoz its almost perfect.. I know him personally and his voice is like that in person lol

i rather love regine to be the host than a judge, i felt she is queen when shes the host. when she fills in judges seats, she can never a queen anymore because they are three judges.
