Very aware of the human condition. Very under rated. One of a kind. Inherently funny. Intelligent. Very private. A first in stand up comedy that wasn't dirty mouth. The first woman stand up comic. Let us hope she receives the credit she richly deserves someday. We the public knew she was the best.
Phyllis Diller was the best comic out their in the 60s and 70s when I was a kid she had a good run all through the later years was incredibly the funniest.
Loved Phyllis Diller---she would have you laughing and while still laughing she would give another one-liner and you'd laugh on top of the other laugh...she was the master of fast jokes! You barely had time to breathe between laughs...better not be drinking or you'll spit your drink out laughing!
I remember her on Match Game looking stunning. Gene never said anything about how stunning she looked. I was so surprised about that. She sounds amazingly intelligent.
Phyllis lived across the street from OJ Simpson, and during the trial my now ex-wife and I would sit and have Tea and Randy donuts with Phyllis sitting on the lawn in lawn chairs. What a wonderful human. God doesn't make them like her anymore.
Looks like a last minute panic to hide her neck. Very odd. I used to adore her as a kid but I recently saw a video of her home and the tacky back and white kitchen floor reminded me of the group she must've belonged to.
UNLIKE THE TYPE OF PERSON SHE CREATED FOR HER COMIC ACT SHE CARED ABOUT HER APPEARANCE BUT I WONDER IF HER SHIRT WAS MENT TO GET LAUGHS IT LOOKS LIKE A GLOBE OF THE EARTH !....////
She just said that her life private now y she not so outlandish. But, people still expect her to have a degree of comedic relief y her scarf is it at her age.
Political correctness is out the window as her book screams it y as a Jew with comedic talent I like to say it the way it is y stay away from negative jerks. You don't have to necessarily overthink comedy, it's just a joke.
She'll be Inspiring to Generations of REAL WOMAN to Come! 💓💓💓
Best laugh I have ever heard. 🌹Rest in Heaven beautiful lady🌹

I was at her house and Ed Asner drove by with a big cigar.
It took me a minute to get the Ghandy joke...😳🤣🤣🤣🤣
LEGEND!!! Just a delight!
She played in St. Louis at Gaslight square. I saw heard several times.
Her scarf is so funny just like her

The QUEEN of Comedy 👑❤️🤡
wikipedia says she died in 2012 so she was 95 (born 1917). she was so funny in the Monster Mash.

What's that around her neck a starched linen table napkin?
She was 91 in this interview- cut her some slack.

Her personal touch.
Being ridiculous is her thing!
I will have loved to ask her if you tell me a joke and I don't think it's funny will you get angry with me????
She would have rolled with the punches y come back with another come back. You have to have a tough skin to be a female comedian back then.
Why abbreviate a three letter word ?
The scarf makes me out of breath ,looks uncomfortable .
She’s 91 in this interview- cut her some slack
@@arlenecerf8833 What, didn't diss her at all .She 's cool .The scarf is awful to look at !
