As a huge fan of both songs, Maya and Time Wave were such lovely surprises. I was ecstatic! Surreal to actually see them live... even after watching 1000 shows on youtube, it was an amazing experience.
Hahaha, it´s a weird feeling, no? 🤣I felt the same for the first few minutes, at their concert last year in Cologne, Germany. It was quite a surreal thing. Like I wasn´t 100% sure, after watching gazllions of live performances they did, that they are real humans. Yes, an amazing experience!

My favorite concert was Deep Purple in the 70s and I saw many rock groups back then and since. I found a BabyMetal song in Feb 2020 and was hooked although I am/was more of a Hard Rock fan but I bought a DVD by BabyMetal (Red/Black) and got into Band-Maid which is more my style so the DVD sat for over a year but I kept watching some vids on UTube. That DVD blew my mind and I was totally hooked. Now I know Sakura Gakuin and their names and birthdays and I got to see BabyMetal last night at Hard Rock in Hollwood - now BabyMetal is my fav concert!! I said all that to say this - I am so Happy your first concert was BM and I loved reading about your experience. What a Fantastic first concert for you. Thanks for sharing

Because, with the elemental Kami band, this concert exemplifies how phenomenal they actually are, particularly live. Is 'Gimme Chocolate!!' becoming a rock classic? 😀

The guy doing sound couldn't find the trick with the audio system because it was really inconsistent, and the were doing amazing, the acoustics weren't great either tbh I was on the left side, roughly 4th lime or so to the barrier, when they played music after the show, which was country roads, you could hear it wasn't the best quality
As far as I know, 50% of metal bands are from the US lol, america in general, north, center and south have great metal bands, so yeah, america is not a country :p
What's going on with Su's return? Her voice always sounds low, and even confused the lyrics, like on Maya: "yumegatari nara NO MORE" and she was singing "yume yaburete LOSE CONTROL" again. Plus: turn on momoa mic.
As someone who was at this venue, the sound quality was really shit and looking at reviews for the venue it seems it's a common issue. Pretty sad tbh but was still enjoyable at least.
They play their last concert of 2024 on December the 5th. Then they go on vacation till February the 28th. They have one date in February and two in March in Australia, and then they pause again until mid May, when their European tour starts. ☺️
