Apex peaked between seasons 7 and 10 in my opinion. It's been slowly unraveling since after that, so I'd say it's been falling for longer than just 1 year

I remember when the minimum level was changed to 50 and the only reason that didn't work was because there was an exploit to play ranked anyway so they took it away. And it really slowed down matchmaking for lower ranks.

This is also a major issue for music platforms like Spotify where there have been larges numbers of clearly documented stream farms to artificially boost stream numbers. There's an old saying, "whatever happens to musicians eventually happens to everyone else" - and we'll only see digital services like these abused more (though to be clear Spotify is 100% set up to facilitate this type of scam).
Imagine how many of those Switch Lites could've gone to kids out there at a much cheaper price used, kids whose families can afford no more than cheap bootleg games and consoles, imagine you could make a kid's whole year with one of those with just a few proper good games included, that thing would be their whole life, they're going to have memories of playing on the console years in the future.
Hey Grrt Switch Pred here. Bot lobbies were absolutely crazy last season in pubs. Every lobby had about 8 real players and people would fight it out for the free 4k 20s. I grind ranked since pubs lobbies are hard to come by but this season I haven’t came across anymore bot lobbies or cheaters this whole season. The game is dying but this season is the best switch Apex has ever been. Currently D1 about to be Pred again soon.
I really dont get whats difficult to fix about this, Just make it so they have to do more than just put a single input in to not get kicked. I think in overwatch if you try to do nothing the whole match even if you would punch and shit, it would get to a point where you would have to actually fight someone to get the afk timer off. I remember this one time, and im pretty sure it was overwatch, where I was trying to be afk but then it said that I need to engage in battle or something and even though I was running around the timer was still counting down. So I really dont understand whats difficult abt this, its kind of common sense just make it harder to get around the afk timer…
Apex isn't really a game with as much action as Overwatch. Many matches go by and my team sees no enemies until final circle. You can't look for movement either as a lot of people play around camping in houses with a controller legend. Without something really advanced, there just is no way that also won't punish people just playing the game in their own way or things they just can't control.
Gaming is crazy now. Scapers buying all the GPUs. You can make a fortune making cheats for a game. AI cheats are hard to detect. Always online single player games. Now server farms? Gaming was way more simple 13 years ago.
Been saying for years the apex numbers are skewered by the amount of bots that are 'known' let alone the unknown variable in that number. Now that were at the point where the average player count on steam is around 75k wonder what % of those numbers are cheaters/bots.

As a person who plays apex, I have experienced this many times, I played a game of ranked leagues a few days ago and my whole lobby was full of bots which is really unfair, I couldn’t leave or I’d get an abandoned penalty, a match is 4-5 hours, I obviously can’t wait that long…
it might be all gathered at once for profit: lobbies for achievement's boost, rank boost, and all those accs gonna get levels and with levels - lootboxes w heilrooms, and those which without are also selling, all that combined making them a nice profit

Native Switch player here, this would be really easy to do. I've tried before to switch lobbies to only have Switch players in them and this is impossible on most servers. I was the only one in queue; this would be really easy to do.

As one of the 10 actual players of the Switch version, I can attest that the game barely even functions. 15 to 30 FPS max. 900p resolution. Crashes EVERYWHERE to this day. It would take a real miracle to fix it

It’s probably reject switch lites that were manufactured in China and the manufacturers just sold them for way cheaper than the normal price, making the financial investments to make those bot farms lower
One IP address should simply be limited to 10 people, if you exceed that circumstance you should have to go through a device clearance or extra checks 🤷♀️ 10 people on one IP is already beyond reasonable, and schools with residential have separated connections anyway
Here's the ultimate solution to combat this on all platforms. Make it so it requires you as a player to do these things of the following to play rank at all Account level must be at least 20 You must garnish at least 100 kills You must win at least 10 games And lastly, you must at least get a total of 10k damage All of this just to unlock rank
winning 10 games is kinda too much for low-skill-set players. think of players who actually belong to bronze rank. we shouldn't really expect them to have 10 games won already in order to be able to start playing ranked matches. I think winning 3 games and additionally everything else you have on your list would be the solution already.
I accidentally stumbled in a taiwan servers , (i play in tokyo servers due to them being tryhards and gave a challenge ) The red flag was there was no hot drop at major spot at tge first 10 sec
Na for me when queue up for pub. I get no teammates or maybe 1 and we’re going a against 3 stacks preds or pub stompers and there’s my teammate dropped edge of the map loot for 3 hours then die as soon he get shot at then left the game 😂
Pretty much every F2P game has this issue, if there is any way people can pay for in a F2P game, there will be bots. I don't want to link platforms to encourage this; but there exists account selling platforms with certain badges and items.

This game sucks bruh, I have 700 hours on this shit hole game, deleted it and been playing THE FINALS for the past week now and man lemme tell you lads, it feels weird playing a game where you can just feel the love from the devs man
the switches are cheaper in China, at least i think so

they are moving from hard hacks to soft aimbot type shit also now new cheats have heirloom unlock play on a Asian server and look at dive trails and kill cams because more than 50% people have many heirloom items like skins and heirlooms at level 50-60 accounts
granted cant prove this but common sense says otherwise
for me as long as no cheaters its ok
