Does anyone else have issues with these markers gunking up? It seems like all of the black ones I've bought especially (4 in total) are extremely gunky or will not load into the tip. I'm refering to the fine tipped pens, not the felt. Thanks!
+Jean Hickey You bake the pieces decorated with Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Markers at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. After the piece has baked for 30 minutes at maximum temperature, turn the oven off and allow the piece to gradually cool to room temperature.
Andrea Carolina Ibáñez We sure do! The tips can be removed by pulling them out. You can then either soak them in warm water. If that doesn’t seem to get them full clean, try odorless mineral spirits. If you sue the odorless mineral spirits, be sure to rinse them well before reinserting them. Hello, I need to know if those markers will go well on tiles. I'm gonna paint a wall with tiles that will be washed every day and I need to know if it will resist.
+Samagaru As long as no harsh chemicals or rough scrubbing pads are used, the tiles should withstand everyday cleaning. We would recommend warm (not hot) soapy water and a sponge to clean the tiles. If you have additional questions, you can reach Blick Product Information at 1-800-933-2542 or info@dickblick.com. Thanks!
Hello! While the painted pieces are no longer considered food safe, you can use them to serve food but not eat from it. The key is to avoid possibly scratching the paint surface an allowing an area for bacteria to grow. If you want to eat from it, avoid painting the center of the plate or bowl.
