My main complaint really... I've reviewed dozens of chairs and only the GT Omega Racing Pro Racing Office Chair was able to really lean those armrests in for comfortable 'elbows in' typing. I'm an average-size guy so I can only assume noblechairs models are meant for the bigger framed, but it really wouldn't take a lot to improve this. There are huge gaps between the arm stems and the chair so the stem bases that slide in and out underneath the seat need to be able to close that gap. It's at least 2inches on either side, which is a shame. Simple fix really.
I'm 192 cm tall @ 78 kilograms. Would this chair be decent for my build, or too wide? Great review, and thanks for pointing out the space between the armrests. Could be crucial for some!
Hi everyone. Just wondering about the stitching color does it get dirty or discolored beacsue Jeans sometimes can mess up lighter colored car seats pretty easy. Like the red but worried it wont look good in a years time
I haven't tested the Secret Lab chair but the Hero seems to have more adjustment (lumbar) and is slightly larger and taller overall. So if you're a tall/big guy or need good lumbar support I'd go for the Hero.
D-Nasty's Noise I’d say the hero because the adjustable lumbar support is better (it can move up and down if I’m not mistaken), the padding on the Hero is firmer, yet still nice and soft and it will last your longer. The Hero overall is much better quality, from the build to customer support. Which is not to say that the Titan is bad, in fact the Titan is the hero’s closest rival. The padding on the Titan is softer, however it will leave a pretty big indent after a few months or so. The one place where the Titan wins hands down is the head pillow, which is the best in the business, but overall Noblechairs makes the better chair, and that would be my top pick for a gaming chair, besides maybe a Triigger
@@thatafknoob7813 Yeah, I'm just worried about the extreme firmness that people complain about. I hear the Titan, while softer is still firm, which might be a nice balance. Maybe I'll build a Hero with Titan neck pillow and Titan armrests with the shorter gas lift.
Hi man, Can you help me ? I really wanna have a nice lumbar support mechanism like in the Hero one not a shitty pilow. But the Hero, is meant for biger/taller people, i am only 1m73. Have you found any good chair with nice lumbar support for people like me please ? Thanks a lot
I am 5'10" 99kg, and sometimes suffer with lower back-ache. My previous chair (Alphason 'Northland') lost all comfort in the seat, as the foam collapsed to nothing in just a few months, and I ended up sitting on the metal frame. I have been researching chairs and have narrowed it down to the Noblechairs 'Hero' or SecretLabs 'Titan', as I like the idea of built-in lumbar support. Can anyone help me decide which one to buy? I would especially like to hear from anyone who has used a chair for about a year, so that I know that it will be durable.
Do you happen to know what the width between the armrests is? Set at their thinnest setting. I've read the spec on Noblechairs website but it looks wider than 46cm to me.
Mind if I ask a quick question? We're about the same size and build i think. When you demonstrate typing, is that with the armrest tops moved in? Since they are 4d armrests I was hoping the ability to move the tops closer to each other would save the day.
That’s just it - they don’t move in far enough to do that. It’s fine for mouse and keyboard but if your arms are at your sides typing I felt the arm wrests were too wide. For me at least. The smaller Icon chair is better.
Hi thanks for the very informative video, I’m thinking about buying one of these noble chairs, I’m undecided between the 3, epic, icon or hero, Im 170cm and about 70kg, small build, from what I’ve read and seen online, the chairs seem to be on the firm side, any help would be much appreciated, the trouble is I really would like to try them 1st before committing, but don’t know if any store which would have them on display.
May I ask what your height is? I'm 176cm and wondering if the pillow will be in such a height that the lower part of my backhead will rest naturally onnit or if the pillow will be too high (as in, the mid/top back of my head will rest on the pillow).
@@vladimirzzz979 Hey. The height seemed okey but the chair was way too wide for me. The distance between the arm-rests made it impossible for me to relax my arms. Was kinda painful. I had to return the chair. To this day I still haven't found a chair that fits me well. Either the resting pillow is too high or (in most cases) the distance between the arm-rests is too wide for me. They make all these chairs but none seem to be made for slim ppl.
I Bought this chair 4 days ago. In favor: very good quality and a lot of adjustment possibilities. Also big with enough space (I am 1,83m and 75 Kg). Against for the moment: the lumbar mechanism makes the backrest thicker, but also rounded. Not very ergonomic. The tilt lever cover falls very often. The chair is hard, too firm for me. I don't know if with the time it will be softer, but now is a bit unconfortable. I have 10 days more before I think on returning it.
I'm debating between the Hero and the Secretlab Titan. Is the Hero the wrong choice? I hear loads of complaints about it being so hard. Has it broken in at all?
I have the same. I had it about 10 days before requesting an RMA. Just going to cost me £30 to send it back or drop it off myself 160 mile round trip and time. and you can have it for another 28 days until it has to be returned (say 24 for 4 days to get it there). It's also too hard for me the base. Go with the titan instead its softer. Also thinking about Dxracer king series but that is PVC leather more squeeky and not as nice as the PU leather.
The Icon is my favourite and my current chair. It's a little smaller and softer than the Epic and Hero. You can see my review of the Icon here www.forbes.com/sites/antonyleather/2017/11/07/noblechairs-icon-series-pc-chair-review-your-gaming-setup-isnt-complete-without-one/#22e39ca57076
Tudor Montescu very good question. The lumbar support is important. Possibly even the most important feature. Personally the icon suited me better in terms of size and comfort so I actually bought a separate Lumbar support for it and now it’s perfect. The cushions included do a good job too.
@@CrazyTechLab Excellent, thanks for replying. I am of course googling this right now, but if you could share your two cents on the separate lumbar support options out there, I'd be forever grateful.
@@tudormontescu6275 No problem! I use something similar to this one but the key is to have something with long enough straps to fit around the chair. My advice: just don't buy the Noblechairs Hero Real Leather! I've never had any gaming chair that was so hard to sit on. It's so hard you would think sitting on hard wood could be much more comfortable. I've had it for a week, but I think I will sell it for half the price... it's not worth it. My legs never hurt so much... And their tech support don't even bother to answer. At this so expensive price, you would not believe it. Well, believe it! I think all the reviews for this chair were paid for. When I asked the reviewers why they never told about how bad this is, they either blocked me, or said something like "Sorry" or "Tough luck"...
