I believe you are one best creators on youtube. I agree and feel gratitude and enjoyed your background music ( downloaded same to help my wife on her 3rd month recovering from two operations.) I should been doing my taxes. . Look fwd watching you grow in the future. Outstanding ❤
You are inspirational bro, I enjoy your brilliance and commend you on the projects you share, thank you for your time and I look forward to your future plans and videos you share, God bless
this is some of the best stuff ive seen ob youtube, i did four years of metal shop in high school. have not done much after that but this has me inspired thank you!!! makes me want to make a donation
The only thing that I can recommend as I see it, is to add a welded on L plate where the bolts are (on the outside of the orange beam) to hook under the orange beam to prevent any give when applying twisting forces when using the vice. You never know how much you gotta whack something or try to twist something while it's clamped in a vice and the L plate being hooked under that beam will still let it slide in and out but will help prevent those twisting forces. Love the build and will most likely build one here myself shortly when I get the materials. Thanks for the video!
wow, you made it look so easy, but for everyone else make no mistake these type of skills cost money in one form or another and won't come cheap. You either pay in time invested or in money to someone with those skills.
Looks like the camera tracker you were playing with at the end is, like most, a facial tracker. Apparently that's the easiest central body portion to program electronics to recognize.
One suggestion - the voice over audio and on the spot audio have different volume. I had to keep adjusting the volume as the video progressed. Hope you keep that it mind for future videos, All the best!
That’s a slick vise mount idea. How are you getting contact from your ground wire to each of the rectangular tubes with orange paint on the rack pieces?
the next area of refinement would be finding a way to get the table flatter. after that, maybe find a way to transform it into a fixture table. that'd be a total pain in the butt, though.
Why not use switchable magnets to secure the vises? That whole table is metal and you could mount the vises in any orientation instead of only in one plane. Edit: a word
Good point. The only problem is that the magnets would accumulate metal shaving dust. But I supposed I. Like switch the magnets off intermittently to clean them. Thanks!
Down with code compliance. Should be your property rights to have scrap metal pile on your property Unless its a public safety concern (fire, rodent, mosquitoes,)
I have a question for you, sir. Are you a welder by trade or no? The reason I ask is I have a welding project I would like to try to get done or something made and I’m looking for someone to do it and I can’t find anybody and the project I saw the guy who made the project, never answered my question about selling the project and if he ever sold products and they don’t even talk, they’re doing things and they keep showing the same videos over and over and over again to honest with you what I’m trying to do what he did was, he traced his hand And he made an act out of it and I live with my daughter and her boyfriend and he chops and I’m trying to make an act like to have an act like that made her a goof so I can say while you’re chopping wood I’ll give you a hand lollet me know if you wouldn’t mind sincerely Chuck
I find that creators with such a large disparity between subscribers and views often make the best content 👁👁
Thank you 🙏🏼 I appreciate every subscriber I get including you!
Please keep making your long videos, it’s so peaceful
I’m glad you enjoy them! Thanks for your support!
The moment I saw that WD40 being sprayed, I could smell it right through the internet.

Great idea. I have a bigger vise I may mount up someday. If I go that route I’ll add a stabilizer L. Thanks for your support!

Thank you. My hope is that these videos will inspire others to gain these skills. Thanks for commenting!!!
Humble and entertaining, interesting, marvelous!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That's a good table great idea
Thanks. It has worked very well for me.
That laser rust remover is totally cool! The price, not so much! 😢
Yeah I hope the price comes down rapidly as the tech gets more mainstream.
Looks like the camera tracker you were playing with at the end is, like most, a facial tracker. Apparently that's the easiest central body portion to program electronics to recognize.
Yeah it seemed to be focusing on my face. Still better than paying a camera man. Thanks for commenting!
Nice work, but you should really add an HEPA fumes extractor to your table ;)
Sounds expensive but I’ve always wanted one. The day I can get one for 500 or cheaper I’ll go for it. Thanks for commenting!!!
One suggestion - the voice over audio and on the spot audio have different volume. I had to keep adjusting the volume as the video progressed. Hope you keep that it mind for future videos, All the best!
Thanks for the feedback. I try my best to avoid that when editing. I guess maybe I should start using headphones to be more accurate.
That’s a slick vise mount idea.
How are you getting contact from your ground wire to each of the rectangular tubes with orange paint on the rack pieces?
The beams rub against each other enough that they don’t need to pass the current into the orange pieces. Thanks for commenting!
Try to include metric measurements as well
How flat is the table? Does it sag down in the middle at all?
smart!!@!
Thanks!!
the next area of refinement would be finding a way to get the table flatter. after that, maybe find a way to transform it into a fixture table. that'd be a total pain in the butt, though.
Good points. Thanks for commenting!
How did you get started in tool accumulation, skills, etc?
Started with a cheap welder and an angle grinder doing sheet metal work on old cars.
Chad
Damn this is such a good idea, I want to make one too and gonna use a lot of your ideas, but I wanna make a smaller one. Any ideas?
I think you can buy pallet rack segments that are less wide? Auctions and eBay etc. thanks for commenting!
@@suburbanbiology I tried but there are none like this, but thanks
Seems like you're welding with flux core with little to no splatter. What welder and wire size/brand are you using?
Link in description. Amazon welder called kicking horse. Thing is a flame thrower for a 120 welder. Wire is what they sell at Home Depot. 0.035”
Is it a robot or your dog ?
DJI dog 😂

@@suburbanbiology You're welcome.
What model of welding machine you have there
Link in description.
Only 434 likes in 3 weeks? Something's wronge...
It seems the world may not get as excited about workbenches as I do??? 🤷🏼♂️ thanks for commenting!!!!

Codes sucks...
lol. Agreed!
You lost me at WELDING THE CASTERS 🤦
Was it the welding part? It’s pretty quick to pick up if that’s the concern.
@@suburbanbiology why would you weld casters and not weld a plate with 4 holes and screw the casters to it like an adult?
I have a question for you, sir. Are you a welder by trade or no?
