They can also be in the extraction room :(. Turning the whole map upside down, give up and take a look sideways in the last room to find some sort of relief.

Tip: If you're running solo, ODC might not always be the best mission. Sure, it can be hella quick if you find the room right away, but capture missions are usually expansive with multiple large branching paths (room chains branching away from the main path from start to extraction). If your movement is good enough that you can avoid taking damage, bring a room-clearing frame to ODE. Extermination missions are typically more linear, so there's a high chance you'll find the vault along the main path. There will always be some variance in completion times, but not as high as ODC so your per run average might be a little lower. As with anything RNG-based, however, run tests (I don't run vaults as actively I used to - was 1-2 hours every day or so before I got too busy with work - so things may have changed). Run 10 each, recording your run times each time, then average and decide which is best for you. In my own testing before I stopped running regularly, ODC made better sense for 4-mans (having more people flattens out the variance, though you will still have outliers), and ODE was better for solo.

I use Inaros for this. Shield reduction doesn't work on him, movement is slow either way so just bulletjump everywhere it's quick enough, dmg reduction? Haha just use first ability and finisher everyone, can't reduce dmg if it one shots you anyway, and his health pool is so f-ing huge! I run umbrial mods on him with the vitality one being on 7/10 levels, and I have around 6k hp, with the key it's 1500 so still more than most other frames AND I can heal myself from enemies :D
Limbo, jump into his dimension til you find the capture target, kill him, jump back out of phase, find the vault and then go to extraction. Infested can't touch you
This video is brilliantly concise and well worded. Thank you for making this. A small thing i would recommend is open the vault thusly removing one of your negative debuffs then kill the target and take the mod to receive the negative. If you get rid of ether extinguished or especially hobbled it would speed things up swiftly.
Thanks destruction42k for the feedback! 👍 Just on the opening the vault and removing one of the negative effects from the Dragon key...it doesn't work that way unfortunately. I wanted to make sure I had my facts right so just ran three vault runs (OD Capture / Nezha / Solo / 4 Dragon Keys) and the effects of the keys used to open the door still appeared to remain active after opening the vault door. The last run in particular was the Hobbled key and after opening the Vault door Nezha was still under the speed penalty of the Hobbled key. I then copped a Bleeding Neg when picking up the Corrupted Mod so got doubled down on my health reserves.
Well i was wrong my apologies but there's still a reason not to acquire the mod before killing the target. thank you for taking the time to test that. I had very little sleep yesterday sorry.
@@Luktorce if you have more than one key in your inventory, you will keep the debuff from this key and taking the artifact will give you a random debuff on top, worst i had was double hobbled ... on 6:28 your shield became overshield because you got the decaying debuff on top

When doing this for Nightwave, I discovered Wisp is my new favorite frame for doing this while playing more relaxed without losing much speed. If I wanna be really fast I tend to go teleport Nova but it's good to have some variety
I never knew this change came out; I’ve got to go farm all these now. This is the biggest reason I never got them all despite having played this game for over 4 years.
My first vault run I ald took 4 dragon keys. You only need a Limbo and operator... That's it. Simple. Use Limbo to chase the target, change to operator to kill it and use Ctrl to wait for your attack's cooldown and then hit it again. Then switch back to Limbo and find the room.
That sounds like an extreme pain in the ass and waste of time just use mag to polarize their Shields Orkin are the weakest against polarize set your duration to Max and you will wipe out all of the bad guys many rooms ahead of you I can get six runs in one hour solo
tbh, i ended up grinding orokin vaults for about 8 hours, I think (with several rests), just in case I need a corrupted mod at some time, to prevent the need to farm more vaults. and imo the best way to do it, is to run a high skill duration build with loki some or less, i ended up doing runs without to much effort, you just use invisibility, and go everywhere jumping, and almost you don't feel the nerfs at all. My main problem was... My Loki was made of crystal. 43 hp and 98 shield. The electrified water can kill you if you stay just one second on it, it's pretty fun seeing how everything that waves at you, makes you DIE all of the sudden lul but overall, I feel that's just the easiest way. You go to capture, kill the target, capture it with inv., and then just search for the vault with invisibility. if you just use invisibility, you got almost infinite energy, so you can just search all you want without many problems ALSO. As a little edit. Remember CAREFULLY to check respawn and the two doors in your left and right sides, before the extraction point. I can't count how many times I have seen the vaults in spawn, or in the extraction point
Nice video man, I’m MR 20 but didn’t know you could equip all 4 keys at the same time. This also means I can get creative working around their debuffs!
If you don't have a spare of the dragon key you used, its effect is lifted once you open the vault. Learned that by accident a few months ago. Not much of a difference unless it's a hobbled effect on top of a hobbled key, but still good to know
You can transfer back into your frame if you hit the button quick enough after starting the pick up animation on the Capture Target. That can also be used to capture the Nightwave targets more efficiently
I think there's a glitch where the dragon key debuffs apply multiple times when you switch to operator mode and back. I used healing dash from vazarin to heal my frame a couple times, and then I found myself doing 1-2 damage with all weapons. Dying and respawning seemed to reset the debuffs to what they originally were.
While everyone is talking about the best frames I just pop into operator dashing away at enemies if I want a bit more energy, make to extraction faster than most high strenght volts. Good times

Hobbled was hands down the easiest to deal with as it did not affect bullet jump speed which you should be doing all the time anyway. On the side not expect corrupted mods to drop heavily in plat price since you can solo farm them easily.
My RNG luck has only been good in a few places and the two times I gave solo vault runs a try(once before this change) I get a desirable mod. Transient Fortitude and Anemic Agility. My Mesa is looking real nice, now.
I'm not sure what's going on, but there are times where I search every nook and cranny but the door never appears. If there's an entrance that I can go in, I go in, yet I find no door which is supposed to be guaranteed to spawn there
I had it happen that there was a pretty small hole in the floor where you could go down and then there was another room where the door was. Watch out for every shit, that door is sneakier than ivara lmao
I tried to do a mission in the derelict ship mostly just to collect resources and credits. But the game won't let me select any mission on the derelict ship and the only time I can get in there is when I have to get a ayatan statue. Any ideas why?
Have you purchased the respective mission Derelict key blueprints (capture, exterminate etc) from the marketplace? Then just double check you've built the Derelict mission keys via the Foundry.

I didn’t know that a vault wouldn’t spawn in the assassinate mission so i when i did the the mission for the first time i had the bleeding and decaying keys on me i had like no health I was rhino so i still beat the boss
Exterminations and a valkyr (range, duration) are the go-to for me. A lot of the times I just get these giant halls and rooted rooms that i can check with 1-2 rip lines. Sure, it's not really the best because of the health key, but you just pop your 4 and tank shit.
@@SimplyNexy That is indeed possible with a lot of range and preferably casting speed (since you can't put capture targets in stasis he might walk out of it). It won't work against nulifier bubbels though.
Let me share how I always do this. I always use Inaros for best survivability with a companion already equipped max ranked animal instinct mod for visions of loots, which additionally provide me the room insights and compartment locations. Choose extermination mission because it carries you to the different places of the stage. The key to my way is dont carry hobbled dragon key, because it will drain up your speed really bad and you cant do shit with unless you are mobile enough. So loose it and carry all three and you still have 75% chance, bet on your luck on it as I do, because trust me, you wouldnt be that unlucky enough to meet a door with hobbled key (it happened only twice to me). And yea, you are good to go. Make sure you are good at detecting the radars. So far so good.

For keybind customisation for the gear wheel, jump into your Options menu / Controls / Customise Key Bindings and scroll most of the way to the bottom of the menu & you'll see options to assign keys for gear items & also you can assign emotes too if you wanted to. In my case, because I use the Archwing Launcher and Energy Pizza the most, I've got them both assigned to my mouse buttons... Cheers...

Soooo the thing is I don’t know about the boss in the assassination mission so I took all 3 medallions except for the bleeding one. Boy was it a loooooooong fight doing 40 damage per hit and guess what there was no artifact room And to top it all of my internet crashed and all progress from the mission was lost
easier way: make a speedrun build focused in slide speed up for Limbo, and with a good amp for the tenno, just kill the target... the rest, stay in the rift...
1) Into the mission or into the Vault? The Vault will always require 1 of the 4 Dragon Keys to open. Sure you can only run each mission with a single key, but it'll likely be slow going for you compared to having a guaranteed chance of opening the vault (gotta find it ofc) if you have all 4 keys equipped per run. 2) No. Going into the Corrupted Vault run with all 4 Dragon keys equipped means you're 100% guaranteed to have the key equipped that the vault requires for you to open it (again when you find the door). You'll personally only get one Corrupted mod per run, no more.

Hey Rory, I think you might be talking about Energising Dash. That's an ability from the Zenurik school that you can get for your Operator. Second Dream / War Within quest completions are needed to take full advantage of Energising Dash. Let me know if I'm off the mark... 👍
Theres always demands for corrupted mods which is nice. However i dont see people selling them at the same time. Yet people complain for a 40-50p range for all the r10 corrupted mods. I sell fleeting expertise and overextended without a problem

Nice video and a good idea. However ... I've done not that many runs ... perhaps 1-2 dozens and I find the search for the room the most pain in the ass. Doing that alone sounds really not worth the positive aspects.
You really need a tutorial for this? Idk why this is in my suggestions, but i ran a valkyr with max hp and armor, plus an hp regen aura, and outside of that op fakefrost capture guy, nothing can really hurt you... Pretty easy stuff.
Ofc they're needed, certain tutorials might not be helpful to you specifically, but they can prove to be for others! There's plenty of Tenno out there at all different experience levels, from those just at the early planets who aren't aware of Corrupted Vault Runs but now know what to aim for & the process they need to go through to get the Vaults done. Through to Tenno who might be trying the runs & are struggling to get through them for whatever reason. Things also like going through mechanics at play (Dragon Keys etc), some might not be comfortable running Solo Vs. groups so seeing a Solo run in action may be helpful & identifying potential hurdles like the Glaxion Capture Target maybe helpful for Tenno too! So while you've indicated it's "pretty easy stuff", there's plenty of Tenno out there who appreciate videos like this.

Rhino's iron skin is so useful when I lose my shield because then I can quickly get away without taking any damage.

i recently just started farming for the corrupted mods, have done about 8 or 9 runs, and have gotten corrupt charge 7 times...
Exterminations and a valkyr (range, duration) are the go-to for me. A lot of the times I just get these giant halls and rooted rooms that i can check with 1-2 rip lines. Sure, it's not really the best because of the health key, but you just pop your 4 and tank shit.
I do this, but with Rhino and a jump mod. Hobbled doesn't have much affect when you crouch jump EVERYWHERE.
When you use 4 keys, 4 nerf are on one person ? ( sorry for bad english )

Im running it with limbo and madurai operator with
443 amp . huge dmg output ( keys doesnt work on operator ) and limbo in warp is immune for damage

@@SimplyNexy That is indeed possible with a lot of range and preferably casting speed (since you can't put capture targets in stasis he might walk out of it). It won't work against nulifier bubbels though.

I wonder how good gauss will end up being for these. So far his kit seems good for it, being speed focused and offering some damage resistance.
Oh yeah, and stagger/knockdown immunity.

Let me share how I always do this. I always use Inaros for best survivability with a companion already equipped max ranked animal instinct mod for visions of loots, which additionally provide me the room insights and compartment locations. Choose extermination mission because it carries you to the different places of the stage. The key to my way is dont carry hobbled dragon key, because it will drain up your speed really bad and you cant do shit with unless you are mobile enough. So loose it and carry all three and you still have 75% chance, bet on your luck on it as I do, because trust me, you wouldnt be that unlucky enough to meet a door with hobbled key (it happened only twice to me). And yea, you are good to go. Make sure you are good at detecting the radars. So far so good.
I used all four with inaros i went from 5750 health to 1100 health and when i opened the vault i went down to 370 hp

Hey Thomas, thanks for the awesome feedback! For keybind customisation for the gear wheel, jump into your Options menu / Controls / Customise Key Bindings and scroll most of the way to the bottom of the menu & you'll see options to assign keys for gear items & also you can assign emotes too if you wanted to. In my case, because I use the Archwing Launcher and Energy Pizza the most, I've got them both assigned to my mouse buttons... Cheers...

I don’t know about the boss in the assassination mission so I took all 3 medallions except for the bleeding one. Boy was it a loooooooong fight doing 40 damage per hit and guess what there was no artifact room
And to top it all of my internet crashed and all progress from the mission was lost
in these moments u should whisper to urself and say "it's just a game, deep breath... deep breath"
pf idunno it was not a big deal I went in later without the medallions and and killed his in 10 minutes #valkgodmode
easier way: make a speedrun build focused in slide speed up for Limbo, and with a good amp for the tenno, just kill the target... the rest, stay in the rift...

1) Into the mission or into the Vault? The Vault will always require 1 of the 4 Dragon Keys to open. Sure you can only run each mission with a single key, but it'll likely be slow going for you compared to having a guaranteed chance of opening the vault (gotta find it ofc) if you have all 4 keys equipped per run.
2) No. Going into the Corrupted Vault run with all 4 Dragon keys equipped means you're 100% guaranteed to have the key equipped that the vault requires for you to open it (again when you find the door). You'll personally only get one Corrupted mod per run, no more.

Hi there, yeah just one vault per mission (no Vaults spawn for Defence & Assassination missions tho).
I found out the best way is to run with 2 person team both with 2 keys
i really should try and go solo runs. Gotta slap rhino with all 4 and just abuse Iron Skin. Thats how i actually cheesed some rivens as well

Hey Rory, I think you might be talking about Energising Dash. That's an ability from the Zenurik school that you can get for your Operator. Second Dream / War Within quest completions are needed to take full advantage of Energising Dash. Let me know if I'm off the mark... 👍

Use limbo... all the frames can technically do it but limbo has by far the simplest way to do this kind of content

Nice video and a good idea. However ... I've done not that many runs ... perhaps 1-2 dozens and I find the search for the room the most pain in the ass. Doing that alone sounds really not worth the positive aspects.

You really need a tutorial for this? Idk why this is in my suggestions, but i ran a valkyr with max hp and armor, plus an hp regen aura, and outside of that op fakefrost capture guy, nothing can really hurt you... Pretty easy stuff.
Ofc they're needed, certain tutorials might not be helpful to you specifically, but they can prove to be for others! There's plenty of Tenno out there at all different experience levels, from those just at the early planets who aren't aware of Corrupted Vault Runs but now know what to aim for & the process they need to go through to get the Vaults done. Through to Tenno who might be trying the runs & are struggling to get through them for whatever reason. Things also like going through mechanics at play (Dragon Keys etc), some might not be comfortable running Solo Vs. groups so seeing a Solo run in action may be helpful & identifying potential hurdles like the Glaxion Capture Target maybe helpful for Tenno too! So while you've indicated it's "pretty easy stuff", there's plenty of Tenno out there who appreciate videos like this.
