Interesting point! Since we were already over speed cap, 9% damage from the barricade with no downside would have been pretty good (unless we had power generator also in this build, I can't remember, then it would only be 4%)
It would have, but you can't just ask if it makes its money back - you have to ask how long it takes to do that. Spending those mats early for an investment that doesn't pay off until the last few waves will cost you more money overall. It's the same problem piggy bank has.

@cephalopocalypse I have always felt that the material drop should be calculated by an RNG of 0-5 and then (RNG X .2 X max material drop) starting wave 3.
So I’ve actually gotten a cursed spyglass with -51% reroll price… If I had mirrored that, would that give me -102% reroll price? And then would I actually gain materials by rerolling?
Imo does not seem like a good choice, the later the run goes the less enemies you will have on a field to shoot at. And enemies will spread across the map so much that charmed enemies will have hard time reaching them. Might still be a fun one
flute is pretty good just because it gets huge base damage from luck with the lucky's natural luck scaling, but lute kind of eats its role as a high-damage weapon for the lucky.
I think they need to change the way drop chance for materials work. I went into endless yesterday and killed about 10 enemies and not one of them dropped materials. Seems like the DLC increased the chances of enemies not dropping materials too. They definitely need to change that.
Incase you didn’t know on iOS Brotato premium if you play demon the items don’t cost anything health never reduces from buying items it’s like god mode

It scales so quickly, yesterday I had 1 million crit javelins on loud, from wave 13 75% my times cursed but got over 2k health over 200 armour I ended up two shot in a field covered with bullets to the point there wasn't an inch of gap to run through. Dead wave 52

What's crazy is as good as this build was you didn't get any pearls which would have made it somehow even crazier

I believe there is an effective reroll discount cap of 90%. In the beta I think it worked then they nerfed it

It would be really slow in the beginning but late game it would be really good.

Yep, I agree! Endless has different rules for material drops as well, which make it less likely per enemy.
