We shall see about that, I have heard a lot of talk about clearance issues but have not tested them for myself, so I finally got the front tire in, and its time to go rip the Losi PRomoto MX around the Parking lot.

Great review!!!!! When using the Pro-Moto wheels and tires, don’t replace the chain guard with an aluminum chain guard. Keep the stock chain guard.
Yes, I am using the stock guard,and it seems to be grinding down to a good angle. Maybe the aluminum would catch more? It might spark and look cool though? Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
yep street bike thats a no brainer,, Losi is working on it and i be first in line to order..I did get lucky and got the first shipment of the red.. Just ordered the green one and a set of proline tires with 50% off hopefully ill get end of october if lm lucky,, but ya street bike for sure and not allot of people have the front wheel the demand is insane and i see why,, thanks for the vid

I have ordered 2 sets for several weeks,but the tires I have on the bike were purchased from a hobby shop, so not sure when they're gonna start shipping the ordered tires, hopefully u get yours soon. I ran these for two weeks, for me they are just Okay. They look incredible, but the driving experience doesn’t match the looks. The PROmoto is magic on dirt. A damp baseball diamond is the very best surface I have run on. Any type of dirt like that is a blast to run on. With the success of this bike, you can bet that LOSI has something else that will be here as soon as the high intensity enthusiasm for the PROmoto starts to slow a little. (Don’t see that happening anytime soon)
I am counting the seconds until they (& they will) release a super bike that resembles something like the HONDA CBR 100RR or similar. Two wheel R/C is back on a whole new level & I’m all in!😎✌🏼🏁
I agree, the tires are ok,but maybe not as good as my knobbie that i wore down to smooth. The knobbie is taller, so less drag. Hopefully we'll see street bikes soon. It can't be that hard to use this technology in a slightly different configuration. Thanks for your comment!

I still haven't gotten my set yet, so I had to improvise! My rear center knobs were almost flat, but had some knobs left on side. Took my hobby knife and wiped each knob into 3 sections, with 2 cuts across each knob left. I cut them parallel to axle. Man, Did I ever pick up traction on pavement! Worked WAYYYY better than expected! Nothing to lose, and traction to gain, it's a no brainer, at least until I get My Supermoto tires:-)
I'm thinking of doing the same thing since I've got a worn knobbie rear, thanks for letting me know it worked!

Great video! I’ve already ordered but like most people who ordered the green one looks like I’ll be waiting for mine for awhile. Already received some of the upgrade parts I ordered on the same day but no bike yet.

New sub here, looking at all the options for when I get one. From what I'm seeing, different sets of wheel / tire combos is the way to go.
Tires and wheels for sure,along with extra sprockets and hub assemblies, so u dont have to switch them when u change between sets of tire. I'm gonna make a video of must haves for the Losi Promoto, watch for it soon. Thanks for subscribing, I appreciate it!
That video would do well, there are a lot of parts available , which are must haves, along with lube, lock tight, etc. Everyone just assumes that everyone has this stuff, but some don't.@@RC_Car_Guy
exactly i got 2 new rear wheel and 2 carbon steel sprocket and 1 front wheel and new disc .. and new alloy wheel hubs with the bigger bearings @@RC_Car_Guy

I've taken the trainers off since this video,but only used it offroad without them. Its definitely better with no trainers,but i worry it might be worse on the street due to grinding? I'll give it a shot a see. Thanks for watching and commenting!

lol adjusting the arms does nothing if u dont swap the included blocks .. how can u not find them u only get a tiny amout of parts with the kit @@RC_Car_Guy

If you listen to the LOSI podcast with Gil Losi jr and Frank they kinda hint about a street bike without saying it. Gil is a old 1/8 scale inroad racer like myself and he talked about running street bike back in the day.

I put small black skateboard wheels on to replace the plastic lean rollers! The plastic scraping on the corners drove me crazy so the skateboard wheels takes the sound away!!

Totally have pics and can send videos! The wheels are not as light as the plastic stock ones but they don’t throw off the balance at all! Not sure how to send them to you? Haven’t ever made a RUclips video before.

I think the Losi street bike is already in the works. I believe the super moto tires were developed for the street bike to come although they do work on the Promoto MX.
I hope you're correct. A street version really appeals to me.

#46 Valentino Rossi rep street bike would be awesome. Either way I'll wait until losi comes out with one. I'm still waiting for my pro Moto MX to show up. All of the aftermarket parts got here and my tires just showed up yesterday. Can't wait to get my bike horizon hobbies, hint hint

I hear you let go of the steering knob on the controller, the common spring back and forth thunking sound.. Stop that! It's a bad habit keep the wheel under your control the entire time you run the model.

i just put a set on mine. Kinda difficult putting on the front caliper on. Did you find having to loosen up the rotor in order to get the caliper around the rotor and spokes? Unless im missing something. Please leave me a note what I did wrong.

You are correct, you will have to loosen at least 3 of the disk screws so the disk can slide to the side, giving you enough space. The supermoto wheels are just too small to fit the disk the normal way. Thanks for watching and the great question!

They don't wear quick in my opinion. I will be doing a new video with updates soon. Im still on my first set of tires, i bought 3 sets but haven't needed the spares yet. Thanks for the question and for watching!

Would be kinda cool to see maybe a Harley Davidson Dina or something like a bagger. Red cat did the low riders, losi can own the motorcycle market until the aftermarket parts start really showing. Aluminum frames, carbon fiber parts. Awesome video and really awesome channel you have.
I agree, I'd like o see motorcycles of all kinds,cruisers, sport bikes,etc, and a huge aftermarket supporting them. We could customize these bikes just like our own rides. Thanks a lot for the kind words and for watching and commenting!

The stick lean bar setting isn't enough for them i broke my swing arm chain slider bracket because its griding so much 😢
Did u break it off, or grind it down? I broke the chain slider bracket the first day,not sure how though. Ive since had the same one for a coulple months. Its doing ok,but getting ground down some.
@@RC_Car_Guy the slider broke and the the brackets on the the swing arm. picking up a new swing arm this weekend
Man what about using it without activating the flying wheel? is still possible? maybe for an experienced user?

Yes, they are the tires for 50% off. I think you can only order one of each. I have 2 Promotos,and 2 coupons, but since they are the same code,i think i can only use it once at tower. I ordered two sets,only got discount on one set. I wonder if i ordered wrong. 🤔

1:45 that’s ridiculous. Basically makes driving off-road impossible (even with stock tires it catches) and the way it bounces around is so… gross. How did they not catch that during R&D
I would definitely like to see a redesign on the tire/swingarm situation. The more i drove, the less noticeable it was. Probably because i worn the guide down? I have since used it off road with no lean bars and it handled SO MUCH BETTER without them, at least of road. Thanks for watching and commenting.
no way I buy thes tyres my knobby tyres already 3/4 worn they will be slicks in no time and then buy a knobby that i wont use on concrete

“Supermoto” is a street bike.
Thanks for commenting. I guess it depends, I consider a "supermoto" in this situation as an off road bike with street tires. I'd never consider a CRF450r with street tires a street bike,but i would consider a DRZ400SM a dual sport with street tires,so its kinda a street bike. When I refer to a street bike, I'd like to see a bike designed with higher clearance to allow for more lean. Keep riding that single track! I just picked up a 04 CR250R & thinking of making it a woods/trail bike!
My favorite street bike would be a CRF450R with SM tires :) … Have fun with your 250R! I had an 04 250x and an 06 250R. Enjoy!
A 450 with SM tires would be too damn fun. I'd be jumping curbs, looking for parks to shred, and pretty much anywhere you wanted to ride would be fair game! Ive had a couple CRF450R's the only thing I might change is gearing it a bit higher of you're thinking of highways. I'm definitely going to enjoy the CR250, its been a while since ive done 2 strokes.
