  • Philip Vaudrey from Whakatane windsurfing yesterday at Kina Road and Pungarehu, Taranaki.
    His first time windsurfing at both locations, initially on Severne Blade 4.2 (Anthracite), then changed down to Severne Blade 3.7 (Blue) - very windy!

    Hey Windrider 1969 aka?? yeah been here a few years now. Good spot over there. The rocks went to town on my feet though. Not like that soft Aussie sand!!

    The wind strength is shown up the huge amount of spray coming off the waves.

    Why does he sail with the rig so upright ? He never rakes it back !
