- Philip Vaudrey from Whakatane windsurfing yesterday at Kina Road and Pungarehu, Taranaki.
His first time windsurfing at both locations, initially on Severne Blade 4.2 (Anthracite), then changed down to Severne Blade 3.7 (Blue) - very windy!
Thanks a lot for this video, very immersive !!!🤗
Amazing conditions 🤙🏻 super cool
I love these footages. A non-pro in epic conditions. I love to see how you deal with going how. Learned from it too. Thanks and cheers. You did brilliant. I had a day like this in Chile and I got smashed :-)

Gnarly af 😮
Good effort on a lumpy gusty day at Kina Rd!
👏👏👏 💪
Hey Windrider 1969 aka?? yeah been here a few years now. Good spot over there. The rocks went to town on my feet though. Not like that soft Aussie sand!!
Sailed Kina many times always on the other tack.... (surf) highway to heaven baby.
The wind strength is shown up the huge amount of spray coming off the waves.
Close this sail, what are you waiting 4?
second spot is so much cleaner
Why does he sail with the rig so upright ? He never rakes it back !
