    Great video! Love seeing how people pack their equipment in and out so I can learn.
    How tall are you? I have read a lot of reviews that if you’re taller than 5’10” or have a long torso this pack is not comfortable and won’t fit your body.
    Thanks so much for your help.

    Very nice video. I am looking for a pack specifically for my full size LW sticks. What prevents the sticks from sliding down? I see in your video the compression straps, but is that enough to prevent the sticks from sliding down over the coarse of a long walk and bumps and steps?

    • @SoCoHunt
      @SoCoHunt  3 года назад

      Your standoffs should keep them from falling out. Just make sure the top one is above the highest strap and you’ll be good to go!

    • @SoCoHunt

      Actually with full-size sticks, I’d put your standoff above the wing pockets and cinch it tight

    • @SoCoHunt

      Brett Pinkley it stays pretty well protected for me. I make sure the pack is tightened down so nothings moving around in there. This year I’m going to add a hard case since I’m switching to my mirrorless

    I got the x2, then went to pack it and realized a flaw...
    You have to take the platform out to get to the sticks. I always like to take the sticks out, then platform when I'm to the top. I have a mystery ranch 28 that was pretty decent at doing that

    • @SoCoHunt
      @SoCoHunt  2 года назад +1

      You can just alternate the way I do it here. I’ve actually started doing it that way. Platform in first, then sticks

    • @SoCoHunt
      @SoCoHunt  2 года назад +1

      Should also mention that I’m not putting sticks under the wings now either.

    • @SoCoHunt
      @SoCoHunt  3 года назад

      the material isn't super quiet. May be one of the only cons, however I just try to be cautious while dealing with it, like anything else. It's the main compartment bag that has the loud material and I believe it's on all models of the x2

    I like your video's but there is some stuff I have to disagree with. 200 dollars for a backpack!? 179 dollars for a platform!? Some of this stuff is crazy over priced.

    • @SoCoHunt
      @SoCoHunt  4 года назад +3

      Frame packs are just not going to be cheap no matter what you’re looking at. This one is actually at the lower end of frame packs. As for the platform, machine cut aluminum is a lengthy process. You can find cheaper platforms but you’re not going to get the attention to detail that tethrd puts into every aspect of their equipment. What you’re also paying for is the fact that they are jumping through hoops to ensure that the product is safe. Numerous in depth testing has been done on their equipment, which is not cheap. Anyone selling you a platform much cheaper is likely not following these steps to ensure the customers safety. There’s a reason business is booming for them for sure. You’re paying for a quality product, through and through. Thanks for watching man!
